I use a FREE app called BeAlert which is a list of applications that are currently running. I can check a box to exclude the application from the runnning applications count. I will look into this app though...
Good application. I was very critical at first, but the program works good and even just for the new introduced task manager included in the app it is worth to buy it. I was shocked how many useless apps run in the background and slow down my device.
