Jordan was left with like 4 feet of room on almost every shot. I don't mean to say that Jordan isn't the best to play the game, but that is just pathetically easy defence. And this one in particular was pretty great considering he was only a foot away from the basket. I believe that one of MJ's motivational factors for this game was the fact that he did not like Reggie Theus at the time. This has been well documented (read the Jordan Rules). Supposedly the reason MJ didn't like Theus was because Reggie dated MJ's wife back in the day. MJ is a great competitor & he always found something to motivate him to play well LOL!!!

Man Pippen sure dominated on the defensive end...8 blocks and 3 steals...I enjoy watching a game where there is defensive dominance (Bulls vs. Jazz 1998 finals gm. 3) more than offensive dominance...everyone practices to be great scorers, but not everyone practices or cares to be a great defender...no better feeling than getting in someone's head and frustrating them from "lock down" D.

people need to pay attention to what mlynch wrote in his description of this game. jordan had 38 points in 25 minutes on 20 shots attempts. it's a known fact that jordan didn't attempt alot of shots against below 500teams....like some other scorers who shall remain nameless....if jordan had the 100 point game could of fallen along time ago. this team only made jordan miss six fuckin times imagine if he was in it for the stats

bill cartwright was a solid scorer when he first entered the nba! he was hit with a lot of injuries in the mid-late 80's that hampered his game. but even when he came to the bulls, he provided a huge inside presence that anchored their defense, especially in the playoffs against ewing. cartwright was crucial to the bulls beating the knicks in the early 90's
