a moray cant kill a human but it can hurt you with his sharpy teeth but if you grab it with your hands it has no change against you .. a thing that is less than 2 killos is not a threat for a human.I basically see them as small doggs who you 're not familiar with, if you get close to them they react
He is a diving instructor in Thailand and he fed the moray everyday with sausages, so the moray became used to divers...Morays cannot see really well but use their very good sense of smell and as he held the sausages with his fingers, the moray thought it is a sausage. I have personally seen the same moray (her name is Emma and she is resident at similan islands) and she is not agressive at all. Treat animals with respect and you will not have such an incident ever.
That's not aggression - I've been around morays enough to see he had his mouth open to try to scare what was scaring him. The eel was scared, and backed into a hole that it felt wasn't deep enough, so it came out and was on its way to a better hiding place. Jesus people, get out there and see them for yourselves. Morays are some of the best creatures in the oceans. Treat them like a dog you don't know, initially, and you won't ever be bitten by them.
The classic feeding of a wild animal, then getting attacked when it's looking for more food? Seen it months ago, and won't be eating my words over stupidity that goes to such lengths.
