The officer that was killed had just gotten married 3 weeks before and the man that shot him was his best man at the wedding. People get a little bit of information and then run with it. This is a tragedy all the way around.

I can say i do see this as a tragedy as i am not a violent person, so i only make comments where i feel comfortable making them. But other's have their own opinions and it will always be that way.. Sad but true to the end. Thanks for commenting.

Officer had to be shot before he spilled the beans on the department corruption.

The department was afraid he would shed some bad light on other officers bad misconduct.

Officer had to be taken down.

COULD OF BEEN HANDLED BETTER BY THE DEPARTMENT.

What make the officer any different of being arrested on the job, officers go to people jobs to arrest individuals no matter what.

@1814dreadyhead if it is true this cop was having an affair with a minor I want everyone to put themselves in the parents of the young girl he was having sex with. How would anyone feel if their daughter was having sex with a cop knowing she was under age? Having sex with a minor is nothing less than child molesting. We need to wait for the facts and see. This will cost the city lots of money in lawsuits.

I read his fathers statement today, he said why arrest him while on duty to ridicule him? That's exactly what I was thinking before I read that! Maybe things would have happened differently if they waited for a more appropriate time to arrest, it's not like the guy was a rapist out on the loose. He was occupied working!

Why is it people are so fast to believe what they read and hear? There is a reason why things are investigate. Something isn't right here because it makes no sense to me why you would go arrested the officer on duty. Like Akertowicz stated this story is full of holes.
