I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo's Kuji Kondo made this (same guy who did the music for the Legend of Zelda series). He always did love making this ethnic sounding snake-dancing music. I LOVE it. definitely puts me to sleep hehe

HOW TO PLAY:

When the pocket watch (the gold thing) is right on top of the red cone, tap A. If you are fast enough, you will send out a wave. If not, you will send out a Z. Waves put other players to sleep faster and keep you awake, but a Z will put you to sleep faster. Repeat as speed increases.

NOTE: It IS possible to get a perfect on this (no Zs at all). I have done it a few times before, it just takes timing and memorization of the pattern at which the speed increases.

I was confused about this game too, when I was little. I now know I have to press A when that thing, the pendulum, swings right at the red center. Or press A when the penulum turns white, which is easier.

They're actually more related to rhinoceroses than anything else.

@hejjagedu Sorry, but wrong again. Baku had a different design originally (elephant trunk, ox tail, rhinoceros budy, TIGER's paws.) They only fairly recently (since about 40 years ago) that their design changed to look more tapir-ish. Sorry about this, but I'm sorta obsessed with Japanese folklore.
