Well done. Like her voice and her musicality.

But... why is it that there isn´t any soprano out there that can sing this like Leontyne or Montserrat did?. After them, Aprile Millo also sang this aria beautifully but afterwards, nobody?

@ezayi It is! But understandable. Young people -including younger opera singers and conductors- have never seen "live" the great ones. The real thing! Instead, they usually see opera parodies instead of operas. And they accept it as "normal". And they seem satisfied and happy. They lack real culture and they lack also of true references to compare with. Let's also admit that we don't live in a particularly "poetic" era...

@sirdicaudore You´re right. I In ten years living in Europe, I haven´t seen already a performance like those of the the big singers before. Im always dissatisfied, starting with the productions which 90% are crap and second, the singers which aren´t good enough. We still had great performance at the Met in the 90´s. Hopefully there will be a few singers that would take our breaths away again!
