I live near Chatanooga- LovellField. I love going there because its airport is nice and its never too busy.

So you don't see any of the larger jets like the Boeing 767,757, MD11 or Air Bus A300 out there at the Chattanooga airport??

I wouldn't wast my time doing all that filming dude, unless you like the MD80..

Hopefully Southwest might soon have a terminal out there. You never know what destination they might get since they now bought Airtran.

Do you ever read Airways Magazine? I remember they did a segment on the MD-83. Seemed a bit underpowerd on paper (20,000 pounds of thrust each) But I think that the MD- super 90 had CFM motors that produced about 30,000 lbs of thrust each.

I was wondering if you see Airtrans at lovell field? They fly the 717-200.

When I was there a month and a half or so ago, they had the taxiway on the tower side of 2/20 closed, so aircraft have to back-taxi runway 2 if they are departing in that direction.
