  • This song is very important to me! Thank you Nick!

  • Reminds me of sixteen candles at the dance :) 80s rox!

  • What a great tune.

  • Clearly his best song. Prefer his orginal version.

  • @morph1554 Remember when he made a comeback around the early nineties and all of a sudden he was really muscle-bound?

  • Nice to see him back with the song but the loudness and deeper sentiment of the original track kinda disappeared..he kinda mellowed down with the age...

  • Is it 25 years since this came out???

Love the song takes me back to when I left home as a kid and stepped out into the big old world

  • very good to see this.after 25 years, nick still has it.he may be better now!

  • It's often said that things improve with age. Same could be said with this song - Nick ain't lost it and to be honest, i much rather like this version.

A good example of a song that hasn't been covered, and the original artist has a chance to revisit it.

  • So very true. I love this song more each time I hear it, and I've heard it hundreds of times.

  • who's the old guy imitating Nick Heyward?

oops! have 25 years really gone by already?

  • Yes, its really messed up. Wasn't I just hanging out in clubs and going to general admission concerts in NYC? Now some kid in Blockbuster is calling me "Ma'am." At least we can say we're younger than The Stones!

  • Brilliant. great to find this posting ! takes me back to my youth..... lol

  • He looked like the guy from Busted when he was younger too!

  • LOL!!! Barrydc1, that IS so true!!!! (≧∇≦)

  • V. funny posting from barrydc1! Been a fan of Nick's since his Haircut 100 days. When he left the band the rest of the members bitched about his singing abilities. While there is an element of truth in this (as observed in this clip), Nick remains an extremely talented songwriter. Check out North of a Miracle - the album from which this track is taken.

  • Great to see Nick performing this song again, one of my all time favourites...the man is a legend.

  • i remember this from 16 candles. he sounds like a mix of joe jackson and ben folds

  • the only exposure i had to this song was in the prom scene of Sixteen Candles. I searched and searched for the CD in about 1988 and finally found it.....and wore it out.

  • AMAZING!

  • where and when was this wiggy pls

  • Top performance Nick, thanks for posting Wiggy

  • Great perform and for me his finest song.

  • He looks MUCH different now (I'd have hardly reconized him), but still sounds the same!

  • i wouldnt have recognised him!!!wow boy has he changed!!!

  • Wonderful!! :)) Thanks so much for posting it! :)
