I hve an LG glimmer i love it. Its awesome. I only hve 3 probs wth it. 1. Wen txtin (not on the screen but wth a real buttons) there is no forward button so u have to wait or space then back. 2. You cant use ringtones that are sent to you in txts unless u use shuffle which is only for calls. 3. It does not have a full keyboard when u turn it to the side like many other touch screens doO and once it stopped working like the buttons and the screen. But i took the battery out and put it back in.

with the alltel/verizon merger in my area i took my glimmer to get it replaced at verizon. well they dont have this phone to replace (since verizon never carried it) it so they gave me a brand new env touch for free.

ok first of all, ive had this phone for about a year. after about a month, the touch screen is HORRIBLE. i have internet on it, and it is SOOO hard to navigate places. and the keypad is really hard to text on, it makes u not want to text. and even on the touch screen text, u have to press everything reallyyy hard. and the side buttons, u have to press them really hard to go up or down. i used to want this phone soooo bad, it was my dream, but seriously, dont get it.

Yeah, my friend has it and it does suck. The touch first of all doesnt work worth a shit after about 2 month. Next it has slow reaction time. As in its laggy. And internet on it is EXTREMELY shit.

alot. the touchscreen controls the whole phone the keypad does not its there for if you dont want to use the touchscreen to dial and text. i think the combination is perfect and unqiue. if you dont want the keypad just get another phone. i for one love this phone. i have it.

This phone and the LG Spyder 830 are the same phone. But different carriers name the phone different things. So alltel named the phone the Glimmer, US Cellular named the phone LG UX830, and various other regional carriers named the phone the LG Spyder. In canada it's called the LG Vantage.

But no I don't think this phone can be unlocked because it is a CDMA phone which means it operates without a sim card so therefore their is no way it could be unlocked. GSM phones have sim cards though...
