Would this be the same file used for the 206 2.0 Hdi 90bhp? or is that file somewhere in your downloads since I'm having trouble understanding what the file names mean in the downloads
first you plug in the kwp, turn it on two clicks and read off your file. The kwp will then tell you to switch off. Do as your told switch off, unplug the kwp, start the car to check its all fine if you like. Next plug it in, turn it on two clicks, upload the new file. When you say taking off the old file, it doesnt actaully remove it, just copies it. The file is over written when you load the new map

The software usually comes on a mini disc along with the KWP wire. The large disc is usually full of poor quality remaps, so you can throw that in the bin!

after removing the original file, you switched the ignition off when prompted. at what point of the procedure did you turn the ignition back on 2 clicks to be able to switch it off at the end? the video doesn't show/explain that? or have i missed it?
right , i`ve follwed this guide and managed to get a copy of my old map but i now can`t get the new map back on . i keep getting a internat hardwear error ? car is really overfueling with the 330d pump on .
may want to check the file size of the new map before attempting to upload, as im guessing you've had a custom map made, might not even be right for the car, else your kwp could be faulty?
I am going to put some free maps on my web page, i can also get hold of some better quality maps, but i have to pay for them, all you need to know for the 306 is the last three digits which are on the ecu itself, have a look, ill put it all on the site in a minute so that you can have a look

or will it erase the injector codes

when you click data it checks what model of ecu you have, you have to do this before you can continue to the next step...
