Ya i saw that clip several months ago, but i did not think about it in the manner you have, but you make a good point, that when in public we put on a show/front that is not present when we are at home, (girls more so than guys).
"Mark Jackson (the person behind this video) has a disgusting sense of humor. He is using his film making skills for pure evil! I don't see what's so funny watching this strip tease to just to find out that an average yet, pretty college co-ed is really a mentally ill old slob! The director doesn't deserve the awards he got for this nor, does he deserve to have the same last name as the King of Pop!"
lmao@"I'm glad I'm not a girl." You goof! You are just not a fake girl! You are totally a girl. I liked your version of it...I hadn't thought of it that way. It's true though...I love getting undone when I've been done up (hardly ever happens anymore, but I do like to get done up now and then). Funny thing is I seem to be more attractive to people when I'm undone.
Great point---I always thought there was a crusty old man inside just trying to get out!! Though...I did grow up thinking it was the Incredible Hulk (true, I'm afraid). Thanks for the smile and perspective! ~Snipeling
Musicians audition behind a screen so they can't be judged on appearance. It's very difficult to be taken seriously as a creative woman so I use the net that way. I want people to watch my stuff because they think I'm funny and like my skill, not because they think I'm cute, or something. (BTW, loved that film. 10Q!)
When musicians audition for a symphony they do it behind a screen so they won't be judged on appearance, and I always liked that idea so I use the net as my screen. Even where I can't choose "male" people assume I'm male because they can only see me on the inside. (BTW, loved that film. 10Q!)

My grandfather always said two things about beauty-"Beauty is only skin deep," and "Beauty is as beauty does." I still learn about what he meant by those sayings-every day. Thanks for sharing that Beccah. Great take on it too.
Yes. In fact, you gave a well thought out response from a female perspective. I saw it from a more wider world view- that there is one face we show to the outside world and another that we're more comfortable with, in our own skin, so to speak.
I found the vid, watched it....awed at the beautiful girl, then cringed at the removal of all the false beauty...but I did realize that, beauty IS SKIN DEEP.
I totally agree with your POV on the movie. And I did feel bad for the guy left on the doorstep...but, isn't that life anyways???
i though it was a pretty cool short film and a good little metaphor for superfical ppls and dressy up girl types ...but if we look at it in a literal sense i would feel bad for the dude
I went to watch it, but it's no long there...
