I believe they succeeded in capturing (especially noticeable on TKOL: From the basement) an electronic arrangement feel except using real instruments as opposed to electronic beats from a keyboard Very noticable on the album "The Eraser" . It's also seems like the sound Thom Yorke couldn't quite grasp by himself on The Eraser was finally obtained by the help of the other four. TKOL is pretty out there and I think that's why people have a difficult time wrapping their heads around it.

This Album is amazing it just has to grow on the listener LIKE EVER OTHER RADIOHEAD ALBUM. At first I was taken aback and just thought of it as a "Thom Yorke & Radiohead" (As opposed to just Radiohead) album. After listening to it several times and watching TKOL from the basement it started to sink in how every instrument almost seems to be doing it's own thing but they manage to bring them together and work in harmony.
