I love this song. Casting Crowns is coming here, but tickets start at 38 dollars and go up to 205 dollars for floor! Regular people can't afford that. I'll stick to albums and youtube. The church can't afford to send anyone for those prices, either, not even with a group discount.
I just turned 23 and on my birthday I found out I had cancer, and listening to this song has given me the strengh to hold my head up and continue to praise god for he is always with me and by my side, although sometimes it seems as if he may not be, for I know he's always here and always will be!
Amazing song. Anybody can praise God in the good times. It takes a unique individual to praise in the worst of times. I haven't really been through the 'bad' storms, so far, and I'm not in any hurry to go through them. For now, I will praise the God who is keeping me from them, and try to help those around me, who are going through them.
I have gone through some difficult times the last few months and I can't tell you how many times I have played this song over and over on my CD player. It kept my focus on praising him even through the storms and difficulties of life. Praising God through song helps me keep my focus on the Lord and off of my current circumstances. I can't express enough how much of a blessing this song has been. May God be glorified!
Woah, they sound just like they did on the CD! This. This is just amazing. I love casting crowns. How all their songs are based on something that happened or someone who had trouble. Its just, Its like God is speaking through them. and tobyMac and The Fray and Superchick. Yes those last two bands are religious. But this is just amazing, I just don't know what word can explain them and the songs they make. Maybe its just not possible. But I know that Casting Crowns has touched my heart!
This past summer I had met Mark at a prayer gathering here on the pine ridge reservation and he performed, I was touched by the music especially because everyday of my life was a storm I walked up to mark and started visiting him he had given me my first bible and told me about jesus and that he loved my family it's what I needed to hear my life is changed and I love the lord with all my heart.
I'm so sorry about your mother. But Look at what God has done for you! You have found him and he has started to give you miracles, Mark gave you the advice you needed and God came through for you and I wish you luck with your family. God be with you and bless you!
I had lost my mother in 2007 I was crushed and didn't know what to do, I was seventeen and my mother had given birth to my little brother and when she passed on nov 5 my little brother was only 2 months old.
I also had my two younger sisters and my younger brother, I didn't know how we were going to live and how we were going to survive. I am now 19 and I take care of my younger siblings except my youngest brother who is now two years old, I didn't have a love for the lord and never thought I
Part 2 0f 2 Just two weeks after that my grandfather had a horrible heart attack and is currently lying in ICU and we are not sure he is going to make it. Through it all my family has tried to stay strong and this song has become our theme song. Thank you for such a moving song and if God is willing, we will see you when you come to Hills Alive in July.
Part 1 of 2 I just wanted to thank you for the Praise You In the Storm song, it has been my family theme song the last two months. On April 18th my father was diagonalize with cancer. All the prayers in the state including over 500 on the LIfelight Prayer chain could help heal a teacher of 27 years. Dad passed away on May 3. Just one week later my uncle had a heart attack.
This is the continuation of my last post. My uncle's family (his parents, brother, and five sisters) stayed strong for the most part, and although a few of them had troubles for a while, most of them praised the Lord through the storm, and all of them praised the Lord again eventually. But a really interesting story my grandma tells is that a few days before he passed on to Heaven, my uncle claimed to see beautiful scenery out the window, but she saw none of it. She believes he saw Heaven there
I know most guys do not admit when they are brought to tears, but this song always brings me to tears since I first heard the story behind it when I saw Casting Crowns live. My uncle, whom I never met because he was gone long before I was here, went through a similar situation to Erin's. My uncle was around the age of ten when the Lord took his soul out of his cancer-destroyed body to bring him to Heaven. Not a day goes by when I don't wish I could have met my uncle. I'm going to continue.
please please please...may I have the violin score for this song. The band at the school BCM would like to play it and need the violin company. Thanks a bunch!
This is one of my favorite songs ever!!A few months ago my friend died, and I lisned to this song and it reminded me that I was not alone.God Bless You Guys!!
This could be my song. I have feared storms all my life. Have since moved to Tornado Alley (and no basement). YIPE! Until this year: delivered from the fear during a Cleansing Stream retreat ... and now I porch chase! LOL (Hey, it's a start. No car, besides.) Now: does that mean I want to confront a tornado? NO! But lightning is so cool to watch: God's autograph in the skies! Thanks for this, my favorite.
"Praise You in This Storm" is my favorite song, and was what helped me in my journey to seek God's grace and forgiveness. This song is very emotional and powerful with God's message.
Oh Yeah He is worthy to be praise.
