hi steve i live in the uk and i have just bought a les paul studio worn cherry ye i know not the best les paul around but im only 16

one thing i don't want is to look the same as everyone else with a les paul studio so i changed the black plastic hardware to cream but i want it to be original so im just wondering about some cream or white binding what sort of business should i be looking into that will be able to do this for me

i am thinking ABOUT doing the same thing thing with my worn cherry lp dont be ashamed of that paul its made in america and blows away any epiphone on the market right now even there standardplus tops mine has burstbucker pros in it thats the way they come now they put thAT IN THERE STANDARDS gibson that is but i want to upgrade the finish a bit so i totally understand bro!

Steve, AWESOME SERIES!!. You've inspired me to build my own guitar from scratch. I've got a pretty good shop and intermediate woodworking skills. I've been thinking over buying a kit but I can't afford the 400-500 bucks up front. One thing: ever think of using a heat gun / hair dryer to remove the tape from the top to soften up the adhesive? I've read about people doing that.
