Plea the 5th amendment. Not sure if the Navajo Police understand this....I wonder what would happen if you exercises the 5th....would it freak out the Navajo Police? Or what. Alls I know is the pastor from Arizona plea’d the 5th and got his Ass tore up by the State police and the Border patrol.
The jurdisdiction is mostly to the reservation areas. But they will respond to calls off the reservation areas if needed if no other agencies are available. The tribe has strict laws against alcohol prohibition, eagle feather collections and the hunting of certain animals. Other laws are the same as many other small towns in the US, such as traffic laws, drug laws and etc.
