Loved ROTTK...and still love koie..or keoi...or whatever....but damn i hated what they did with Romance....i played what was it...10 or 11...the one that was actually on pc...and it was horrible...the whole move to 3d didnt work the way they did it...i was more complex than it needed to be...without being fun at all...felt like work...lol. I hope they go back to what made the old ones so great....

Best strategy is using a full unit of Arbalests from an outpost with the Bowman skill in controlled weather. Full decimation of the enemy line.

best romance they made tell u the best stragedy use godsunzan master ur trample and ambush, create 4 officers and have them all use trample, it will stun them for at least 3 turn wich allows u to wipe out any enemy

I just installed XI on the PC earlier tonight and i've litterally spent the last 5 hours playing it and just got out! There's a big learning curve but if you're willing to give it a shot then the rewards are there. It sort of reminds me of a more complex Civilization... is that a fair comparison to make?

I've played this for a while and do consider this one of my favorites in the series. It really explores human nature as well as war strategy. For example, every character (including any you create) has his/her own personality. If your officer is cowardly and intelligent he/she will loose control in a fight but succeed in plotting. A brave and charasmatic one can drive off an enemy but may be vulnerable to traps.
