  • is this good for auditoriums and talent shows

  • what cam use you bro?

  • @twentyfactor12 peavey vypyr is a metal amp and i like it but this amp is great if you know how to use it

  • hey plz answer which do u think is better the iv 75w or the 3 75w

  • @blingblingjon34 I have the 4 75...and it sucks,. basicly.

  • @blingblingjon34 spider 4 are made horribly just search for a 50watts marshall valvestate it is the best amp ever or if you want metal (like i do) buy a peavey vypyr but between spider 4 or 3 the spider 3 is way better

  • when you did this video, ho was your bass mids and all that sutff set, too. cuz i if i do what you just did it sounds really bad, i have to use the presets. A lil Help Pliz

  • The amp in general is okey. The sound is pretty good when you're at home practicing, but it sounds way too fuzzy live in my opinion. At least if you play in a metal band. It sounds better if you mic it up, but still sounds very digital and fuzzy.

I'm much happier with my Line 6 Valve 212! I have some grounding problems with it though.

  • I had this amp for 1 month, then it got the Black Box syndrome. Sent it back to the store and they gave me a new one. Had the new one for little over a year, then it happened again. I sent it back to the store and they gave me a new one in addition to selling me a new amp for half the price (Line 6 Valve 212).

1 year later my 3rd Line6 Spider III 75 got the Black Box syndrome.

    I'm not a fan anymore! Reliability & Durability: 1/10

  • @MetallAndy whats the black box syndrome? im thinking about getting this amp so id like to know haha.

  • @locmike21 The display shows a few black boxes and the DSP doesn't work. Nothing works on it and there's no sound. It's not normal but not uncommon. I think Line 6 is fully aware of the problem so they will probably replace your amp if it happens. It is something that Line 6 considers to be a manufacturer defect and will fix even if your passed warranty. I'm sick of it happening to me so I won't be buying a new one.

  • Epiphone Les Paul buddies lol

  • Nice

  • should i get the 30 watt or 75 watt for bedroom practice and maybe band practice in the future i dont want something too loud and not too low cuz of the neighbors.

  • @ramiabuhamra1

i have the 30 watt, which i bought for home use. hoever,i realised it was PLENTY loud, and have noww been using it at pub gigs! if you can afford it, get the 75 watt for more features and affects, if you dont need those, the 30 watt is fine

  • Comment removed

  • @Monsterpop Alright , Thanks dude but i decided to buy a peavey vypyr 75 watt instead of this i found it much much more natural sounding it has analog distortion much better than digital distortion.

  • Is it good for small gigs? is it loud

  • hey do you know if this can be connected to a b-52 cab? please reply..or if anyone knows please let me know.

  • would this amp be loud enough for a back yard thrash metal gig lemme know pleessee

  • @666thrashtilldeath I have the same amp and i can tell you it's definately loud enough for a small gig, the question however is if the sound would be clean enough...

  • I got a fuckin 75 watt head and I am running through a 4 speaker Crate amp..and just in case it isnt already loud enough (It is very loud) i will also amplify it through a 150 watt PA system

  • Thnx for the video, got my line 6 yesterday will keep u posted! Cheers

  • Why aren't you using the noise gate?

  • I Could play this amp for weeks just on the effects!!!! I Can't flippin' wait to get this!

  • Hey I plan on buying one of these but I'm not so sure about it. I'm a Marshall/Les Paul guy but I can't afford a Marshall yet. I like to use a lot of distortion and a good example of my style would be Sweet Child O' Mine. Would you think this amp can get that style of sound and still be proper for use in a gig? I like to play loud too

  • I play an Epiphone LP too

  • I played on the newer model of this amp in a guitar shop for a few minutes but seeing how i was in a shop i couldn't crank it up, do you think it's good for gigs? I need a new one.

  • @xXxM0rbidxXx Yea, but it all depends on what type of gig. Nothing to huge, but it'll definitely do a talent show, party, or playing at a bar. Lemme know watcha need it for.

  • @xXxM0rbidxXx omg the higher you turn it up... the more defined the sound gets, perfict eq's and distortion. ILOVE MINE! get it, itll be the best amp purchase youll ever make, its a vertual sound box to say the least!

  • @xXxM0rbidxXx This amp is good for gigs but I prefer 150 wats head line 6 spider. If you buy good cabinet, sound will be great!

  • one question im comparing this to a marshall mg30fx could you help me out im kinda stuck plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me !!!!

  • @tonicrosss Well, what kind of music do you play? How are you wanting to use your amp? (Gigs or like small practices) What questions do you have?

  • @Hegonta tyvm for tyhe replie but i ended up getting a peavey vypyr 30 w its loud well in my opinion its better then the line 6

  • @Hegonta ok i'm looking for good quality amps but im on a 300-400 budget and a big enough amp for a block party can it hold up for a gig like that

  • @tonicrosss I owned the marshall (many moons ago), and have played these amps, I would say if you are after effects, either using pedals or looking for onboard fx, Marshall dont really cut it well. Line 6 all the way... I personally run a line 6 (x3 live) through a 200w combo and you cant beat em

  • Peavey Vypyr blows this out of the water.

  • velho gudi

  • no it does not get better quality asa you turn it up, imposible cuz its solid state, the transformers in it start to crap out at higher volumes, i have the 120w

  • is there a way to turn the presets off complety?

  • is this a good practice amp? just for bedroom shredding and some recording? i have a 15 watt spider 3 now, but it's way too small for me

  • @akguitar94 Yeah it is, I use mine for practice and shows all the time. It has a good enough sound for recording but I personally don't use it for that purpose. But yeah, it's a great amp and I would recommend you to get it.

  • i kinda started to laugh when you said you were reading from the manual :)) but hey , thank you for the effort:D

  • Just snagged one of these today with the FBV4 foot switch all for 160$, I'm loving it!

  • Man, nice demo!! I noticed that you got your amp around the same time that I did...

    Keep on rocking hard, bud!

  • i dont know if you know about the spider iv but when you buy one, do you get a shortboard with it, on ebay ive seen the "combo amps" but with the iii or the iv dose it come with it or dose just the wah pedal or what?

  • @slipknotforlife556 Well from what i understand out of your question, i dont think u get anything with the Spider 3 ( i mean, i didnt) but for the Spider 4, i dont know. If it does thats an awsome deal, with all of the presets, its nice to be able to recall them with just the hit of a switch.

  • @slipknotforlife556 i just got the spider 4...you just get the amp..the shortboard costs an extra 200$

  • this is good for gigs ?

  • @MetalOmgz Mabye a medium sized gig, but i know it gets HELLA loud.

  • i have this amp, and ive brought it to many gigs and its great. its really loud and for most gigs u wont have to go more than half way on the volume knob. its a great amp but if you want a bluesy sound out of it, i would recommend getting a boss blues driver. it has good effects and sounds with over 400 different sounds of famous rock songs and bands

  • this amp has gain or not??

  • Yes, but the newer version, Spider 4, has more gain and even has 2 amp models that are called High Gain

  • @Hegonta Is this amp much better than the 30 watts one?

  • @3dDuke Yea, it has more amp models than the 30. Now, the Spider IV 30 watt has the same amount of presets as the Spider III. But, once again, the Spider IV 75 watt has more amp models and presets than the 30 watt. Hope that helps.

  • @Hegonta I'm asking because I'm buying a line6 Spider IV 75 watts and a Dean Razorback V-255 "Blades" with a professional cordial, I will buy a better amp later though, I'm even thinking of a valve one but for now I guess this one might work..

  • @3dDuke Yea, i guess it all depends on what you plan on doing, how serious you are about it, and of course money! Valve amps would be a really good choice if you want that real beefy tube sound and tone. I mean, you can even go as far as getting a amp head and a cabinet if you are really serious, you wanna play gigs, and money isnt really that big of an obstical. But i am definitely not going to discourage you to not buy the Spider IV, cuz it is really great amp.

  • @Hegonta Thank you, it's already on the way though I bought it in a online musicstore called "thomann". Well the problem now was actually the money because I didnt want to spend that much but I am thinking on either buying a valve amp or a amp head with a cabinet, more of the second choice, for gigs when it comes to that..

  • is it the same thing as the line 6 spider iii 15watt guitar combo amp just larger?

  • Nooooo, the 75 watt version is alot more differant. First of the 15 watt only has 6 amp models( i think). The 75 watt version has 12. Not so sure how many presets u can have with the 15, but with this amp, you can have i think up to 36. And my most favorite feature about the 75 watt is the display on it. It tells u what the name of the preset is and the location in the presets. So in a smaller answer, its not the same.

  • @TheUndivided1

plus the spider 3 doesnt have abuilt in tuner, and this one offers more amp models like Blues ...etc. 15 watt is msolty 4 beginers but its just as good as this

  • doesnt sound to good. but the insane channel is awsome

  • where did you get that cable to plug your ipod into it? and how much

  • I got it with some radio i bought, not sure were you could find one but i wouldnt think they'd be more than $3.

  • u can get them at walmart, but they are rather expensive, i payed $20 for mine

  • I CANT FIND ANY VIDEOS of the entersandman preset can you do it for my

    thanks

  • Do you want me to play entersandman or do you just wanna see the preset?

  • that would be awesome if u played it on the preset thanks im suscribing

  • the main question is it nice to play

  • For sure. Very versitile and very good sound quality

  • damn man, you got the guitar and the amp i want, well i dont really care about the guitar anymore cause i got a different one, but the amps still good

  • not the best review i ever seen
