Otherwise the mod would never be released of course. ;) The humvee you see in this trailer for example has been replaced by a brand new one, same thing for Bradley. Not even mentioning gameplay which we change if needed. ;) So don't worry about quality. ;)

I am 100% sure, that there are new models, both infantry, vehicles and weapons. As I've played with all the new weapons, infantry and vehicles myself.

The mod will be released this year, which is a promise. Hold your horses on which month. ;)

Then the problem is related to your OS. CoH works on Vista, I can confirm that myself. But if no mods and maps work for you (and thus not Vista in general, because I think this isn't a widespread issue at all), then you should consider re-installing your Company of Heroes and try again.

There is a huge amount of work that comes with this mod. This is not an add-on, this is a total conversion mod, introducing two entire new factions, who will be balanced out as best as we can. We are doing this in our spare time, we don't get paid to do this 8 hours a day, 5 days in the week. ;)

I even though of joining MC devs and help with the easy stuff that needs to be done but it takes time for advanced devs, but finally I changed my mind because I know the basics of modeling, but I might be to weak for them.

It's not just a simple way of creating 3D models, UV'ing, skinning and animating them, and then you're done. That process itself takes a big amount of time, not even mentioning the revisions we have done. Then you still have the coding itself, getting the bugs hammered out, new features, balancing and so forth. I see everything that's been going on behind the screens, and you can take from my word, people have been working very hard. Harder than you might think they did.

What exactly are you basing that upon? CoD and CoH are in no way even close to each other. If they would switch because of this mod, then they will be starting from scratch, and an experienced player should be able to win. This is much like the original in terms of gameplay, and those CoD 'noobs' you are talking about, need quite a lot of patience if they ever want to be a respected high level CoH player, just because we are porting CoH to a modern era. Maybe you should re-think it.

All i see is a while bunch of re-skin of vehicles. And yet another attempt at making ww2 game Modern. And there will be months of random patching just like EF and eventually people will just give up and go back to coh vanilla. And no matter how much u try it will never be realistic. The leopard and the Abrams are the best tanks in the world. One battle would take a few minutes (at the least). And the range of the guns are minuscule. In a few weeks people will realize how senseless the mod is.

How come you have Type 96 main battle tanks, yet really low tech Type 56 assault rifles for the Chinese army?

The standard issue, even militia, of Chinese troops is the type 95 or 81 assault rifle.

We have already tested and created the humvee with a gunner. It looks alright, but we prefer to go for a more realistic/modern setup, where there is an automated system and this will also avoid the problem of an invincible gunner.
