This is one of the first times I have ever commented on YouTube I have been watching these Warrant videos all night and I feel so bad for Jani. This show in Nashville i have seen nothing but quality from Jani but, as you go further on the timeline he is horrible. I would have loved to have been at this show they rocked it and I've been a huge Warrant fan every since they came out. Hope Jani gets some help and goes back on tour again!

Truth is booze & drugs have ruined a lot of good singers in famous bands throughout the years. Doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, unknown or a rock star, if you don't seek help for addiction, then the addiction is what takes over. It ruins your life and that of those around them. It's very sad.

Hahah, baloney mate, I've seen your act on YT before. Your mistakes:

1) The video is obscure, the thumbnail and desc. are uninteresting, so you wouldn't click on it "just for comedy."

2) Tried to make a blanket statement about all singers from one genre of music - that is a dead giveaway mate.

3) Instead of just saying "I hate Jani's voice" or something along those lines, you tried to hit his tech. skill, which nobody in the industry would take seriously.

BTW, if you're not trolling and you're actually just a kid, I'd feel pretty bad. :) lol.

So just to cover my bases:

Technical vocal talent has to do with range, control, etc. - that is to say, objective measures if vocalization.

"Goodness" has to do with how you subjectively interpret what you hear.

So for example, Clay Aiken is technically skilled as a singer but I don't care for his voice or music much.

On the other hand Robert Plant is not technically a super singer but for LZ I liked him.

I'm only responding because this caught my attention.I hate to tell u (Norms Chem) but u have it backwards:( Plant is an incredibly girfted "technically skilled" singer, where as Aiken is not at all a "technical" singer. When discussing "technical skill" wether it's drumming/vocals whatever...technical skill is defined by chops: Range, Intonation, Control, Projection, Pitch, Vibrato...Singers like:StevePerry,Plant,Mercury,­Cornell,Jeff Buckley,Maynard,AnnWilson,S.Ba­ch - Just to name a few-

I just saw Warrant play in Las Vegas. It was nothing like this video though. Jani Lane was piss drunk and he was a total embarassment to the band. It was pretty evident that they were dragged down by his performance. Bummer.
