Not really impressive. The side impact was horrible, weak door barriers that obviously don't offer much protection which could easily cost you a couple of ribs...

Im soo glad i stopped using my Pug 205 and got MEself a MiTo! :) What a fun little car!!!! So stylish, so pretty and charming. This car is the only modern car i ever had that is so fun to drive. Watching some horrific footage and images of crash tests of the Peugeot 205 has made me buy this car

@iYoshi3G Well its just a now and again car just to take to the Uni car park or to the golf club. The South Korean students I take to the club are the only people that can fit in the back. I use the VW Golf TDi mostly or the Ferrari 575M on those days where the wallets can be raided.

Mah,ho visto+video riguardanti i crash-test EuroNcap e oramai sn convinto k le auto+moderne(quelle d buona fattura,xkè quelle cinesi sn fatte proprio d cartapesta)sono sì molto sicure,ma+facilmente danneggiabili,nel senso k se fai 1 bell'urto l'abitacolo resta ben protetto,ma le lamiere si accartocciano con troppa leggerezza...

2mesi fà ho fatto un frontale con la mia Leon(del 2001!)contro un muro a 80km/h e ti assicuro ke ha riportato molti meno danni rispetto alla Mito e ad altre a 64km/h!!

Mi sembra strano che la tua Leon contro un ostacolo non flessibile (muro) agli 80 km/h riporti meno danni di una MiTo ai 64 Km/h contro un ostacolo flessibile.... diciamo che l' ultima volta che hai guardato il cruscotto prima di frenare e avere l' incidente andavi agli 80 km/h, perchè ti assicuro che delle macchine che vanno a quella velocità contro i muri non rimane granchè...

assolutamente si: le auto moderne, infatti, sono progettate in maniera tale da assorbire loro il più possibile la quantità di moto... per questo si accartocciano di più... comunque quoto FreeAngeld: è impossibile che il tuo impatto sia avvenuto frontalmente agli 80 all'ora conto una barriera rigida e l'auto si sia danneggiata meno di questa MiTo ai 64 all'ora (ha ottenuto il punteggio massimo). Per lo meno, non saresti qui a raccontarlo...

Il tuo commento mi ha fatto sorgere un dubbio...guarda sotto wikipedia, cerca euro Ncap. Purtroppo si tratta di test a 64 Kilometri orari. Del resto visto che è un test EUROPEO perchè dovremmo mettere le MIGLIA orarie? Cmq guarda che 64 orari sono già una bella velocità e l'energia cinetica dei corpi aumenta col quadrato della velocità....

qll ke poki sanno....e ke la makkina va a 100 km/h poi la fanno decellerare a 64 km/h...quindi l'impatto è a qll velocità...ma tra velocità fissa e una decellerazione da 100km/h c'è mlt differenza visto ke la forza nel secondo kaso è mlt maggiore....
