Feller just just entered hospice care the other day - I wish him the best. Great to see that he was still bringing it at that age. He still had a nice motion and looked like he could put something on the ball. Must have been a great experience - thanks for posting.

I too was at the 2000 Fantasy Camp and priveleged also to have faced Mr Feller in the Pros game... Not bad for a Limey! Which team were you on Sturge, I was with Rick Manning and Woody Held's Bubbas. Wouldn't mind getting in touch with some of the boys on that Camp.

i had breakfast with Feller at a hotel in 2007 in Winterhaven. As a college ballplayer myself, it was unreal to be sitting with him as he told many stories

my brother went last year. He had an awesome time. His team was able to play at the Jake this past summer for the championship game. He got to wear Rick Manning shoes because my brother's cleats were of metal and they don't allow metal cleats to be worn anymore I guess.

And just to think, Bob Feller was ONLY 81 at this time. Even if it was fantasy camp, I give an 81 year old man credit for getting on the mound ANYWHERE, Hall of Famer or not.
