it's interesting to see the difference between Latin samba and ballroom samba. both are fun to do though.

Who does not know samba should research and study the culture of each people.
You should study about samba, you should look for "Samba 3 performance" or "Samba No Pe" on youtube! This is the "gaff samba" in Rio de Janeiro! True!

This is NOT SAMBA!!! I am from Brazil and I have been dancing since I was just a kid and this CRAP is NOT Samba!!! Not even close. So, please don't follow what these people are showing. If you want to teach how to dance Samba, you SHOULD LEARN FIRST!!!

PLEASE, if you're reading this, remove this video!!! You're only misinforming people! This is exactly what ANY dance instructor would tell you NOT to do! Samba is not about jumping up and down - that's NOT how you get the distinguishing "bounce" action. It would help you to use your standing leg in order to move in the direction that you want to move. Plus, the body weight should arrive at the same time as your foot. This is not your case! You shouldn't be teaching; you should be learning!!

wow, I'm going to learn to samba in one minute and thirty nine seconds. Those are some incredible instructors... these "expert" village videos are such junk. I'm not clicking anymore. :(
