I remebered one time that i took 54% (east) of the world as germany and the other 46% (west) By spain. haha... the game told me whether or not to quit game since spain was my ally and that i have won. Guess wut... I WARRED AGAINST SPAIN mwuahahaha and the world was mine >:DDD< took me 2 days though...spain was hard to match :))

I haven't played this in years, but I remember setting it so We couldn't go past the second to last age, because I didn't like the last one, because I couldn't use my nukes. I would ally myself with a nation, garrison a bunch of units in their buildings, and then nuke 'em. Because I'm like that :P

@archidization They're Spartans, I think. I've read up quite a bit on the city-states in the past and if I recall correctly, the Athenians tended to use blue banners and the Spartans red. Then again, my memory isn't perfect.

@johnanth I think they're supposed to be Athenians mate. You can see the Acropolis with the Parthenon in the background and even if they're not Athenians they can't be Spartans because they don't carry the right banners or symbols on their shields and plus they don't wear red capes. Again it's just a game it can't be 100% historically accurate

Yo, I personally only like playing up to the "Gunpowder Age" in a customize solo game. I dislike playing in the modern era. Nukes, unlimited soldiers and tanks w/ annoying jetfighters is all too boring and time consuming.

hmm the game is good but i don't really like the intro is skips alot i mean they spent 3 clips on ancient age and then they skip to the age of gunpowder what about the middle ages and then it skips to WW1 i don't really like it
