You should definately work on your bass drum power. You're basically just tapping the drum heads, even at the slow parts. You're a good drummer, and you can always get better.
i will also vouch for the fact kollias gets more motion at 270 then you do when your two foot blasting at this tempo. ill admit im closer to your motion than kollias, but he has HELLISH power in his legs
i have shitty pacific 602 pedals and i can get to around 230 with them, pedals are 10% of the battle and technique is 90%, i would have to agree though however that a major band could not play a show without high end equipment such as double bass pedals that are meant to be played at certain tempos for example axis.
and ur not poor, not with a drum kit like that. im poor. i have a simmons sd7k electric kit. and its a piece of shit. not designed for playing behemoth. but ive made some upgrades to it to make it work.
u dont need axis to play it. its just alot of practice. i can play it on my shitty dw pdp 101's. u look like u hav eliminators. altho i might b rong. not a good view from this angle. but either way, elims are much better than my 101's. try tightening the springs as tight as they go. that may help.
