I wish I could afford a cast of actors, rent a studio and then have it aired as if it were a legitimate morning program. I have stated over and over that the video is un-altered except to cut down on its length.

There has been NO video editing that helps make this trick work. The only editing was to cut the length of time. I don't know how I would have used photo shop. What you see in the video is exactly how you would see it in a live production. PHOTOSHOP?

Interesting comments.Wrong but very interesting. As time was a premium, the hosts examined the box before the show, and I edited out the on air confirmation by the hosts that the box and lid where ungimmicked. I see now that I missjudged the YouTube audience. Your comments, though, they are wrong, show insight into possible ways illusions are accomplished, but also show the limits of your understanding. Most secrets are much more subtle than what you have voiced.

@oilyturf997 Its not a trick or anything. Its a stunt, you just have to train yourself to do different things.

@konami619 You are partly correct. However the "magic" is getting out. The entire box, lid, locks were all examined. The entire box is solid and the locks are ungimmicked locks. There is no way to reach the locks from the inside. Thanks for your comments and viewing.

Most experts believe he died from a ruptured appendix. A college student testing Houdini's claims to be able to withstand blows to the stomach, punched Harry a few times just below and to the right to his navel. The exact accounts stated by a Mr. Price, who was present at the time, and Harry's wife differ and much is in quiestion. However, Harry did die of paritonitis from a ruptured appendix. He died on Holloween 1926. BTW It is not possible to rupture an appendix by blunt force trauma.

If you accidentally do something wrong, and can't get out, do you have like a signal or something? To let them know you can't get out?

Yes. The magician you see in the video and the lovely assistant are not only great at what they do, they are good friends of mine and as such they have practiced with me on this illusion and performed it with me for years. There is a very obvious signal from me that alerts them that something is wrong. If they see this signal they will watch me every second but not end the illusion. There is another signal that means to end the illusion immediately. Fortunately I have not used that one.

Yes it is documented what caused his death, a ruptured appendix. This is factual. Physicians agree that it would be near impossible for a blow to the stomach to cause this. It is also a certaintanty that he did not die while attempting an escape, as many would believe.

When I perform this on stage, no back curtain at all. I was forced to have the back curtain because I was performing outside with spectator's all around. Obviously I did not want people to see how I did it. It is an illusion after all, not real magic.

If you are refering to the front curtain that my assistants are holding, then they go up and down to allow the audience to see my progress. Hope this helps

Yeah, as the comments above state, I hated to use them but being in an out door venue it was unavoidable. The curtains, however, have nothing to do with how the trick was accomplished. When I perform on stage, I use only the front curtain, again, being outside, I did want to preserve the secret.

When I perform this on a stage, the box is seated in the middle of the stage, far enough away from all curtains as to remove any suspicion. However, the out door venue, in a crowded downtown shopping area, made the curtain unavoidable. The curtains, are of course, to hide the secret. It is only a trick, but I want to protect the secret non-the-less.

Dude, why the language, it's just a trick, but a trick you are so wrong about. The helpers do nothing, what could they do? Stretch their arms a good 2 or more feet to reach the pad locks and unlock them, now that would be magic wouldn't it!
