Heartfelt thank you for bringing much happiness in my life. I'm incredibly touched by this sublime song. It is magic because it can take us in a moment laden with precious emotions. Such sharing is wonderful... Osmosis is in perfect coordination between the artists and the crowd testimony of the value and depth of the musical work ! A moment of pure happiness I will not forget and I'm so glad to have lived. The subliminal sound produced by the guitar is exquisite. The beautiful words are eternal
I wonder if lead guitarist Christopher DeGarmo (@5:19), who wrote & composed "Silent Lucidity" himself, ever wondered if this song would evoke the powerful emotional impact that it has over the years?
@sportsportsport - In all the times I've heard this song and watched countless videos of the acoustic performance, this is the first time I've noticed, visually AND by hearing, the switch from nylon to steel. The second thing I noticed is from 2:22 to 2:46, DeGarmo is playing different notes. I guess that's the nature of the song...it changes with time, yet it remains the same.
I love this song;I listen to it each nite. I need a place to hide.
