  • im 11. i kinda wanna be a father already. :p just me

  • at first i was like this is so wrong but at the end i agree with it if i been a father u bet i will teach this to my child

  • guys, child abuse happens when there's any kind of abuse applied on the child, not when they're being tauhght to survive.

  • 58 people wanted the baby to die. omg i am heart broken by this. first of all why did he leave the door open?? crying..

  • omg this breaks my heart i just wana GRAB HIM!!!!!!!!!!! =(

  • Excuse me but WYF is wrong with you people?

  • wow its amazing how we as humans are born such extraordinary creatures.. wth happened!!

  • this is certainly amazing but at the same time it makes you feel aweful!!

  • Were do you live I'm calling the cops that's not Okay to let you kid drown

  • shut the fuck up with that child abuse shit im sick of that shit thanks for the video i was angry when he was angry but it helped alot

  • what's worse teaching your child what to do if he or she falls in any water and knows how to SAVE THEMSELVES

or them falling in water STRUGGLING FOR AIR and dying.

this is a good thing. definitively not child abuse and at the end of the video the baby was SMILING he's fine and smart

  • Wow

  • "where's my beer at bitch."

  • thats cute, baby tanning.

  • ohhhhhh who is this michel philips

  • Child Abuse;

    Negligence;

    Exploitation of a minor;

The person who filmed this is very rude.

  • are you nuts?? :@

  • I'm terrifyed!!.. I coud never do this to my baby!!!

  • @MunteanuAna That's the whole point of teaching it to your baby - so that you don't have to be terrified. It may be very distressing to just watch and not do anything, but that way you know that your baby will be safe. What if you're not around and you baby falls into a pool (or any water for that matter) This buys your baby some time, and increases it's chances of surving. I agree that it's very hard to watch! But well worth it. I'll definitely teach this when i have children =)

  • @Gogoplata205 totally agree :)

  • @MunteanuAna Having said that, if you do decide to do it, make you you have a professional instructor do the teaching!

  • umm .. military ppl might be intrested in these babies

  • My heart hurts alot!!! :(

  • I applaud the parents for teaching their child survival skills... but I really think 5 minutes is really pushing your luck... if it comes to the child having to float for 5 minutes unattended, I'd deem you both unqualified for parenting....

  • there is a lot of swiming courses for baby.

but thay do not left alone to scream

SHAM! THIS VIDEO IS A SHAM

    REPULSIVE

  • you let him scream for 5 min?

you film it and didnt help?

you sould go to jail and stay there for good

    you are an abuser monster

    you are twisted!!!

  • poor baby OMG...this is fuckin ignorance,,,IS IT A MUUUST FOR A BABY LIKE THAT TO SWIM....WHAT MISSERABLE PARENTS

  • omg this killed me. march 1st, 2007 my 2 year old nephew fell into a pool and no one was near to save him. insight on when he must have went thru just tears my heart in two :[

  • .i had a friend that fell off a bridge at 7 months. He floated out to the sound and was picked up by a fisherman and returned to his mother. He was missing for 10 hours before the fisherman found him. He is in his thirties now

  • Everyone commenting must be hormonal. This is a natural occurrence at an early stage and helps babies learn to swim. These parents clearly knew what they were doing and posted the video to inform other parents of the risks of NOT teaching your children to swim.

  • This is exactly why I wouldnt put my children on youtube bc of all these comments, people say anything about children without remorse

  • Chill out people they oviously wernt gonna let the baby drown... Quit trying to get people to like your comments..! Goooossshhh

  • I can't stand people like this where r ur parenting skills!! u people need to be charged and hae children services involved!!!!!!

  • that baby propably will not get near a pool for a long long time...

  • I'm sure many ppl would say ur a bad father/mother.

  • U know... Even tho babies could roll on thier backs, DUMBASS! The baby could have drowned before doing that. Seriously...

  • thats messed up

  • wow!! I felt so freaking bad when the baby was just crying there and NO ONE came to aide! although I must say I loved the smile when he was held..

  • CHILD ABUSE!!!

  • wtf???

  • My daughter fell in our pool when she was 18 months old and my brother found her floating face down. She was almost dead! It took us 20 minutes to get her to throw up all the water that was in her tummy once he performed CPR on her and got her to breathing again. I guess whatever memo that all the other infants got about rolling over she didn't get.

  • I don't care if its teaching your child how to swim. Letting your child cry like that all alone in a big scary pool is heartless. Many parents use this as an excuse to leave their kids unsupervised in the pool. I was a child swimmer. I grew up in Florida and had docks right off of my parent's house touching the ocean. I also panicked and almost drowned when I was 6, even though I was already swimming for years. Fine, teach your kids how to swim, but at least do your part and be there with them.

  • i didnt learn to do tht till i was 11rofl

  • this is natural in babies and it's called swimming reflex.

  • maybe they have learned how to float on water...amazing!!!

  • this is so disturbing

  • .Actually all you people that are saying this is child abuse it is definately not child abuse this is a pair of parents who have taken the time to teach their baby to prevent itself from drowning.

I would rather want my kid to be like this and still floating after 5 mins crying then on the bottom of a pool lifeless cause it hasnt been taught to float or swim.

. If parents got the right swimming lessons at a young age half of these drownings could be prevented.

  • that is pretty amazing, and a great life saving technique.

  • for people saying this is amazing has something wrong with them there is nuthing amazing about it who the hell would throw a baby in a pool and that baby is not swimming he's floating. there is no garuantee that baby wouldnt flip around and drown. people say u can drown in a tablespoon of water and hes got a defenseless baby loating in a fucking pool. you should be arrested for child endangerment this is ridiculous. it is up to the adults to make sure this doesnt happen.. not the babies to swim

  • @piperkm08 that baby did swim at the end of the video...quite effectively. and there lies the guarantee from which the baby will flip around to not drown. btw floating is something that can only be accomplished while being very calm and in total control of oneself. as for people saying you can drown in a TABLESPOON of water is 100% you sensationalizing something you heard incorrectly. babies spend 9 months in fluid, babies arent taught how to swim they are reminded that they know how to.

  • @MangoBastard yeah babies spend 9 months in fluid becuz they are gettin oxygen from the mother through the bloodstream. a born baby doesnt have another form of way for getting oxygen hence babies can drown. theres not an air bubble in the moms uterus and i highly doubt they have room to swim around in there. so no most babies do not know how to swim. and actually if youre scared to death and afraid to move... you can float. if babies knew how to swim there wouldnt be cases of them drowning.

  • @piperkm08 i didn't argue about babies being able to breathe or drown. they could certainly do both. what i 'm saying is that with TRAINING you can enhance the swimming instincts innate in all babies. and think of what you're trying to say about being scared to death and afraid to move in the water. your natural instinct is to flail to try to stay afloat. you 're completely wrong on that. watch the video again. basically you're arguing against training babies a life saving skill. their life

  • This is amazing!

  • this is cruel!!! dont just sit there you jackka**

  • whoever was f****** video taping this should have helped him! nd wut if he.she dint no how to do that flipover? huh? i would have sued!! because he should have beenwatched..lock your doors! gosh D******! erggg! >:(

  • WOW I am SO AMAZED. This is awesome. and @freakplz I am almost positive they had a medical team there if this was a planned, professional film.

  • lol the baby fell so amazing :o

  • the baby CANT FUCKING SWIM hes floating from survival instincts. what a lunatic that guy should go to jail

  • That baby best be a robot......

  • Someone should go to this fuckers house and take his kids away

  • this is a save your baby video the whole thing is amazing how they teach a baby how to survive a pool fall

  • what the hell is this crap. who would let a baby just float in the water with a camera on it to prove a point.

  • So are you saying that if I throw a baby in water it will do that? ;|

  • @DomoTheMonsterr i wudnt try if i were u

  • I think this is a very clever and sensible thing to teach your kids, accidents happen and it's an instincive motion for babies to hold the breath in water so atleast they only have to learn to roll

  • WTF this is so shocking it made me sick to my stomach how could u just let him sit there are u fucking nuts > this video should be taken off the air

  • i cant do that O.O"

cz im 10 years old :l

  • This is terrifying!

  • 2:07 he calls his dad dumbass

  • @8SQ as he shud be

  • It's amazing... and kind of scary. I feel like I couldn't bring myself to find out if my baby really did have that instinct. What if he just fell in and inhaled a mouth full of water?

  • @lawstudent84 after i saw the affect of the first step, you know how the baby was able to swim on its own and everything, i was like maybe this is right. but i still would never be able to watch a baby cry for longer than a second so i would never do this. but i was begining to think maybe these people are not so wrong after all. but then i read your comment about the sucking air thing and u are so right! thank you for the enlightening comment and bringing me back on track

  • fuckin discustin, y wud ne1 do that he obviously didnt like it yet they jus carried on filmin some people dnt deserve to be parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank God the baby knows how to roll o ver and survive because these things do happen in real life.

  • Interessant und gut zu wissen. Am Ende ist es ganz entspannt im Wasser und lacht sogar.

  • omg thats suprising the baby didnt die

i would jump in the pool and get the

baby than rather letting it die poor thing

  • This is cruel...ugh...

  • Thats not Amazing your Crazy ??

  • Thats not amazing

  • you sick bastards if i had seen you do that man you would be in trouble

  • what the hell can u say child endangerment who the hell let these ppl do this!!!

  • whoaaa i wouldve shit a brick

  • i dont know how they taught a child that age to swim but i would for my son to learn how to swim just like those kids when he's born... Its seems scary to let a child go in the water but obviously they're training their child a wonderful and life saving technique...

  • @emaculantchick1990 I agree! I mean come on people, yea it looks messed up how they let him float there for a little bit but at least he knows how to swim. It's just showing what would happen if the parents weren't around and the baby got out to the pool. I honestly would rather see my baby floating and alive in the water instead of drowning to death.

  • the bays chillin

  • I would just barely let anyone hold my babies much less throw 'em in a pool.

  • Very cute baby.. but WTF did you just let it sit there... i could never do that even if i knew he would be ok :(

  • @freakplz Because if something like this happened for real and no one was around, it has to be able to stay calm or it will sink. If he expects mommy or daddy to catch him/her immediately and they don't, he could begin to panic and drown.

  • this is great...It just shows how the human instinct works...it just sucks when we the ppl then start to forget these things when we grow up and later have to learn them back just b/c the lack of practice...

its also funny that all these ass-wholes here in you-tube saying oh this and oh that; kick your ass don't do that again...funny but yes folks let children do these kinds of stuff for only the safety and survival of the human...is at stake you dumb city folk punk...sending stupid comments...

  • you fucking dum shit dont ever to that to a baby again . i wish i saw u on da streets one day so i cud fuk yur bitch ass up.

  • My nine year old just walked in during this and said "that's almost like torture"

  • umm did that dad seriosoly leave his baby in the water for 5 minuts with out being in the water wow i under stand that it good for babys to learn to swim but that dad is irrisponsible!!

  • @JellyBeanJennyRawr its only a demonstration punk...WoW haw then who' was working the camera...and if you saw that theirs a mother to...in this video...pay attention to everything that went on...idiot...

  • pauvre bébé c'est inhumain de faire sa!!!

  • WOW!! Amazing!!

  • I have 4 kids and this is something I would want each 1 of them 2 learn. It ultimately saves the child's life. Whoever disagrees obviously don't watch the news to see that one of the leading causes of death in young children is drowning. Keep doing what your doing!!!!!

  • so they shoved the kid into the water and then filmed the after effects...

  • nice job lil' baby.... u amazed me...... keep it up... try some another tricks for me please.....

  • PLEASE!! stupid people like those who comment this is cruel should never have children... babies need to learn this things and need to know that they're in danger, five minutes of crying won't destroy his life, it might probably save it actually, so if you're stupid enough to put your own lame "poor little baby" feelings before acknowledging that this is GOOD for the baby's safety then you shouldn't be a parent...

  • @nachoijp

Are you serious man?! It's a baby it can't understand what you are doing! It only is frightened to death. The parents are the ones who have to learn. If you have a baby and a pool you can not let the baby leave unattended.

  • @ElleEctro did you even saw the video? he is NOT unattended, and he's laughing when his father reach him so I don't think he's so frightened...

the idea of this is not letting the kid alone, but to be safe in case of an accident... a little stress for the kid to save his life is a good deal I think :S

  • @nachoijp some one else that' thinking just letting you know man...cause these idiots that saw the video... absolutely did not pay attention to what was going on...and

I've got to say these stupid...specially more of the city folks are raise with a so called stupidity in "Safety" when in fact it makes them cowards...ppl should be though these kinds of thing just for;...it happens for reals the person know what to do and not panic...

  • @nachoijp "thought" sorry typo almost at the last of the reply...

  • wow these are babies. i can't even do that. i read in some science books that the ability to walk/kick in the baby is really inborn and can be activated when in water. i don't know if it applies here.

  • all i could think during this entire video was "oh my gawd get the damn kid out of there now!"

  • i find this very disturbing, to leave a baby in distress, i know they are proving a point but i seriously do not think this was how to do it... i believe they do care but u hv to be more responsible as parents....

  • @irishkitty2010 No, that baby was prob in the process of a 'swim test' at the end of baby swim classes they have a test and the baby will have to float on there own, i'm sure the dad was in there and the swim teacher. so they taped it to show us!

  • your fucking retarded i fucking hate you i wish you were dead!

  • poor baby some 1 get him

  • ok we get your point. alot of kids and infants gets drown of poor supervision. i was just hoping you did not left your baby crying for 5 mins..

  • @ciejaydee more like a min

  • Comment removed

  • </3 :( but still cute

  • ok point proven get the poor little fucker out now cruel cunts!

  • @Candelicious100 that poor little fucker needs to learn

  • ok point proven get the poor little fucker out now cruel cunts

  • Yes, this is hard to watch, but it would be a hell of a lot harder to watch, if this child did not know how to float/swim! Kudos to these smart parents for making sure these children knew what to do in the water!

  • Would all you idiots calm down...it may have looked like he was alone for the purpose of the video but he wasn't mg they were just demonstrating that the baby will be completely safe for ever how long it takes for someone to find him, I have 6 children and they have ALL taken this class and it works! All my children (the youngest being 10 mths) are all wonderful swimmers thanks to this. If you have babies and a swimming pool it is a must. Would you rather have a crying baby or a dead baby??

  • Poor kid, he is probably traumatised now...

  • a bit wet but still alive..............

  • I understand that you're trying to show off a product that will potentially save lives, but to do so at by using your own/someone else's unknowing baby is pure exploitation.

    Shame on you.

  • @jubmasterflex what you want them to just say yeah we can teach your baby shit "can you prove it? no.."

  • Wtf.. why leave him there so Long..can even hear him callin for his dad...

  • poor child, how could you do this !! couldnt you hear him he was CRYING !! YOUR INSANE..

  • @missilovemakeup1991 Idiot...He is still alive! Your the one thats insane you dont understand that the baby is COMPLETELY safe! He is totally fine!

  • @Freesubs43 its still insane, i know he is fine, but what if he drowned.. ?

  • @missilovemakeup1991 and at the end you see him fucking smiling.

  • I just can´t believe this was done on purpose! Oh my God how can somebody do that to a child just to see what happens. They just don´t know how it feels to be scared for life.. I wish the parents would found out.

  • @pajafa see what happens? they want to make sure the kid doesn't fucking die if he's ever left alone

  • @shadowdragon555

If you would leave a baby unattended in an area where a pool is than you probably should never be a father

  • @ElleEctro you fucking kidding me? what if I hire a baby sitter and they are fucking retarded?

  • If i ever saw those cunt people in the street id knock them all the fuck out then chuck them in water see if they can swim unconscious fucking douche bags!!!!

  • these parents need to go to jail

  • @cherylcamargo these parents need more students what they're doing is fucking good.

  • i would never put my child threw this if the could swim or not throwing babys in a pool and watching them drown till they flip over is horrible ppl the take thir children to those swim classes should die!!

  • @MommyOf2Monsters20 thats not true! they're just proctecting their kids. of course letting them in a pool alone is dangerous and in purpose is stupid! but mmh, what if they really fall in a pool by theirselfs? then many lives will be saved due to swim classes!

  • Parents,,im gonna find u a beat ur ass, this movie should be called,. watch our baby save his own life.U fucking fools!

  • well at least he's going to develop great motor skills and reflexes when he grows up ^^

  • The theory behind this is that babies know how to swim prior to birth. After all, they swim in amniotic fluid for 9 months. They just need to relearn how to swim after birth.

  • seriously oorah the baby can swim...okkkk is testing that worth seeing if it would drown? I have two babies that never leave my sight and I would never do this to them thats insane...some parents dont even do anything and get their children removed from their custody and yet these brilliant "parents" can broadcast this crap and get praise for it?! Aint that some shiz

  • "im going to try and drown my baby and show it on youtube! Fuk yea!"

  • Wow!!!! That's a hard one to watch for sure!

I am thankful that you child can swim.. There are way to many fatalities do to parents'

lack of awareness. Regardless of the child's ability to swim or not they should never be unsupervised.

  • how can u put a BABY in the damm about 5 feet water he could drown

  • wtf you psycho?? what the hell is wrong with you?

  • this is sick, i dont care if your proving a point or not

  • i just luv it tnx

  • this is a horrible video yea it may get the message across but it's heart breaking and plain wrong!!!! i have kids and would never do anything like this with my babies!!!!!!

  • Wow! I really did find this video hard to watch but it gets the message across loud & clear! Kinda happy I saw dad just off to the side & not the kid worried alone in the pool by itself though! I think that these parents should be praised for teaching their child to swim & get the message across!

They didn't leave the child there like it first suggests, which is what worried me at first! xx

  • nothings wrong with this would you rather have your baby drown and die or live. :(

  • Whoever complains about this video is a noob.

these parents are doing nothing wrong.

  • he aqui el ejmplo de como se salva una pequeña vida

  • Why did they post such a video? EVEN if your child can swim ALWAYS tend to them. Who ever is filming this child should have enough brains to stay close to it and put a bathing suit on the child. Are you trying to show off or something. My little brother almost drowned as a toddler and when I saw this I got shills down my back. I mean just because your kid can swim at a year doesn't mean that you can just leave it in the pool by it's self. And put a frecken bathing suit on him.

  • @krissie1231 they are there just off screen. its not to brag that there child can swim. its to show that if trained to a child can survive falling in the pool in a pinch. its meant to inform parents so that maybe there child WONT drown. call them cruel but these parents are the least likely parents to loose there child to the pool. i do think it was kinda harsh to leave the baby like that for so long you could hear it crying out for help and freaking out a bit after 5 damn minutes.

  • When my little brother was about two he fell into a pool. To see this is so bothersome to me. What bothers me is why is the person that is filming the baby not tending to it. Anybody with a lick of two sence can see that the baby is not in a position to be there. It looks like to me that they are just left the baby there.

  • couldnt watch after hearing him call out dadda. terrible. y put this up.

  • what kind of parent would leave there baby in a pool for over 5 minutes! especially when its wearing a suit that suggests that its cold weather. babies easily get tired, 5 minutes of staying afloat would even be hard on adults! too cruel to be true. shame on you!

  • i found that incredibly uncomfortable to watch. why would you do that to a baby..

  • actualy babys are born knowing how to swim.. they live in a water filled womb for 9 months. its just that parents keep them away from water after they are born.

  • This is photoshopped. You can clearly see the baby is not in water

  • My moms mother had her in that type of class when she was 3 months old.... She fell in the local pool at a party.... It's the only reason she survived. She was under the lifeguard tower, and noone could see her.

  • omg i thought it died at the end :|

  • because of this video, i will get my toddler lessons! it also makes me more aware of how easy accidents happen! get educated ppl!

  • Cool! Tha´s what i call self defense lessons.

    Congratulations!

  • no MATE THATS CRAZY!!! IN AUST.. ITS AGAINST THA LAW TO NOT HAVE A FENCE AROUND THA POOL.. I LOVE AUSSIE

  • @tangimausiaz SAme in the USA

  • This baby is trained for this...it's something parents with pools should consider, they teach this at our local pool, it only takes a split second for a child to fall in and drown, but if the baby knows to roll, you have that extra time to get in and save them.

  • ITS OBVIOUS THAT THE BABY COULD SWIM

  • fukin ridiculous how could u let a baby do this !

leave it what if it bashed its head while leaving it !

    fukin ridiculous.
