I hated the movie "Push"
I think it had great actors and potential but it was just boring.
They mentioned the movie "He's just not that into you" which is a better movie than Push. Although Push isnt hard to beat.
He's just not that into you" got tons of laughs in the theater and I think the filmakers actually accomplished what they set out to do. With the movie Push, the filmakers failed, there is no way they created what they set out to do.
I like reelzchannel. I watch reviews and interviews on this channel. Plus a good way to tell if a movie review site is real or not is to watch or read reviews of a bad movie. Lots of reviews of movies in the paper/TV and internet are fake. How many times did Pete Hammond from Maxim give great reviews to bad movies? Every time.

If you haven't seen a movie on dvd called "Equalibrium" its pretty cool.
Its got some Matrix style action and tons of gun fighting.
Will Smith did a good job on I am Legend. Have you seen the original version of "I am Legend"? It was done years ago starring Charlton Heston and its called "The Omega Man"
she did this to get the clear vision of future as tht pop girl threatened to kill nick....and she does save him......it was nothing intentional as it is made out to be
I also gotta admit... This may have been Dakota Fanning's stronger roles, but it can also be crippling to her career a little bit... Especially how some people that care about the younger actors, they would say that Dakota could have done better... But to me, i think she did do a strong performance!
Push reminded me alot of jumper. Jumper had a lot more special effects that were a bit better. It would be kinda cool if they had mixed the two movies xD But yah the design and setting of the movie was great and has a lot of potential, but the whole execution left some action, speed, and special effects to be desired. If they changed up the plot aLOT, and had more power usage and special effects they could make a great sequel. The three main characters hone their powers and kick ass = WIN ;P
the Special Effects were done well, but the movie could have been twice as fast paced...I also think they could have incorporated the main character's powers more into the movie. There should have been WAY more use of special powers.

Great movie ! Though at points it seem a bit "fairy-tale like" (to me at least), it is well thought in script, nice photograph, music is ok ... the ending is really rewarding though ...
Push : First 30 minutes Great, Then Got completely lost as it attempted to be like far to many other films & Tv Shows, Cool Ideas got ground down and gritty social connection was eschewed for a Kid Rating board Finnishing in a very Lack lustre way Pining for a Sequel to redeem it self. Acting was more than average, the plot doesn't make sense in a lot of parts and is hard to understand, you're bored 90% of the movie, the fighting scenes were boring, bad, and sometimes stupid, and a ton of other stuff was wrong.
I loved the movie hehe <3 I thought it was pretty unique and awesome. Although the ending was a lil OMG why? Thought the ending was gonna keep going and all but it ended with a "Put the gun inside your mouth and pull the trigger" XDXD
the acting and the concept of it was decent, but the overall flow of the movie was too spastic for me, and the fact that there wasn't even a flashback of the lead female made it difficult for me to get into her and the lead male's "preexisting" love story.
and despite the fact I don't think it was intentionally a ripoff, I instinctively felt a "jumper" feel to it that I couldn't help but shed.
yeah, i give it a 3 out of 5. good effects, acting, and all that crap. but it was like a movie that never had an ending prepared. the end simply didn't satisfy or give any closure. definitely not a 'jumper". btw, i can't wait for a jumper sequel.
ok im gonna spoil it for a lot of you that havent seen it, some secret organization creates a serum that enhances powers, the syringe with the serum gets stolen and its a war between 3 different groups to get it. overall not impressed with it felt like a xmen ripoff only reason i would say go see it is for dakota fanning getting drunk that was funny but other than that save your money and go rent the dark knight or something that you want to see

I, personally, went into the cinema expecting a jumper/heroes/x-men rip-off/clone, but to my suprise, i really enjoyed the film. suprised it got such bad reviews. I personally think that the lack of constant action allowed for better character development and moments.

I watched this movie expecting something horrible, i had heard a lot of reviews saying the storyline was confusing a lot of plot holes etc. I personally had no problem with the storyline, if people cant keep up with something that has more than one dimension i don't even think you should be giving your opinion cause its really sad. I agree they could have gone more into characters and had at least 1 more fight scene. Overall a 8/10 from me

Probably the the most overrated sci fi film since the Serenity. This was hailed to be the next Matrix, NOT EVEN CLOSE!! If you must see it, do yourself a favor & go matinee or better yet rent it or even better wait til it comes out on HBO or demand.
Just saw the movie and I loved it. I've heard a lot of criticism for Push and I can't say I agree with most of it. Yeah there wasn't as much action as everyone expected but I think that's what makes it better.
I do not like Camille Bell with Chris Evans however. I felt like they had almost no chemistry. Sadly enough Chris and Dakota had a great deal more. Which isn't good because she's only 14. But I found myself hoping they would get together.
This movie was terrible. Don't waste your money unless you're some sheepish mindless drone. The plot was messy, made very little sense, tried to play up to action sequences, and even suggested pedophilia moments between the main guy and Dakota Fanning.
Worth seeing to know to never see it again, if you paid more than a cent for this trash, then you paid too much.

Me and my friends heard a lot of complaints about this movie... so we went to see it last Friday for ourselves, and we LOVED it. None of us can understand how anyone hated it, you know? Like, I know it's not the BEST movie in the world... but it was pretty damn good and Dakota Fanning was awesome. :)
I really liked the movie. The hongkong setting gave it something different and I liked the almost indie look to it, with the cut back scenes. It did keep me guessing.

Those movies seem so colorful you always in your mind see it as always being unrealistic. While Push made it seem like it could be posible since every one didnt wear briight super hero costumes. It reminds you of Jumper because it's marketed the exact same way. And the premise is pretty much copy and pasted from Jumper. Sure the powers are different and other things are a bit different but they changed just enough to make you think it's a different movie.

The characters were fun, angst ridden, reluctant hero types that many movies try but get wrong.
Reminded me more of Arahan (also a great movie) than Heroes.

Push : First 30 minutes Great, Then Got completely lost as it attempted to be like far to many other films & Tv Shows, Cool Ideas got ground down and gritty social connection was eschewed for a Kid Rating board Finnishing in a very Lack lustre way Pining for a Sequel to redeem it self. Wont be buying the DVD.

Acting was more than average, the plot doesn't make sense in a lot of parts and is hard to understand, you're bored 90% of the movie, the fighting scenes were boring, bad, and sometimes stupid, and a ton of other stuff was wrong.

the acting and the concept of it was decent, but the overall flow of the movie was too spastic for me, and the fact that there wasn't even a flashback of the lead female made it difficult for me to get into her and the lead male's "preexisting" love story.
and despite the fact I don't think it was intentionally a ripoff, I instinctively felt a "jumper" feel to it that I couldn't help but shed.

yeah, i give it a 3 out of 5. good effects, acting, and all that crap. but it was like a movie that never had an ending prepared. the end simply didn't satisfy or give any closure. definitely not a 'jumper". btw, i can't wait for a jumper sequel.

ok im gonna spoil it for a lot of you that havent seen it, some secret organization creates a serum that enhances powers, the syringe with the serum gets stolen and its a war between 3 different groups to get it. overall not impressed with it felt like a xmen ripoff only reason i would say go see it is for dakota fanning getting drunk that was funny but other than that save your money and go rent the dark knight or something that you want to see

Dakota. Geez I hate that girl. She can die in lava. She made War of the Worlds annoying. I liked War of the Worlds, just didn't like her.
This movie was great, even with her in it. Put up against other super hero movies. I think this tops them all. I was NEVER into spider man stuff, hardly a super man fan, and I only liked a few of the old batmans... And Xmen was only good b/c of Famke.
Pushers couldn't fly, watchers couldn't see the future perfectly. This movie had balance.

I, personally, went into the cinema expecting a jumper/heroes/x-men rip-off/clone, but to my suprise, i really enjoyed the film. suprised it got such bad reviews. I personally think that the lack of constant action allowed for better character development and moments.
The human Torch can actually act! wow! (ish)
True, it could have had an extra fight/action scene, but i thought it was worth the sacrifice for more character time. Dakota is actually growing into a great actress. great performence.

I watched this movie expecting something horrible, i had heard a lot of reviews saying the storyline was confusing a lot of plot holes etc. I personally had no problem with the storyline, if people cant keep up with something that has more than one dimension i don't even think you should be giving your opinion cause its really sad. I agree they could have gone more into characters and had at least 1 more fight scene. Overall a 8/10 from me

Probably the the most overrated sci fi film since the Serenity. This was hailed to be the next Matrix, NOT EVEN CLOSE!! If you must see it, do yourself a favor & go matinee or better yet rent it or even better wait til it comes out on HBO or demand.

Just saw the movie and I loved it. I've heard a lot of criticism for Push and I can't say I agree with most of it. Yeah there wasn't as much action as everyone expected but I think that's what makes it better.
I do not like Camille Bell with Chris Evans however. I felt like they had almost no chemistry. Sadly enough Chris and Dakota had a great deal more. Which isn't good because she's only 14. But I found myself hoping they would get together.
Overall though a great movie!

This movie was terrible. Don't waste your money unless you're some sheepish mindless drone. The plot was messy, made very little sense, tried to play up to action sequences, and even suggested pedophilia moments between the main guy and Dakota Fanning.
Worth seeing to know to never see it again, if you paid more than a cent for this trash, then you paid too much.
God have mercy. I hate to remember days like these when people think films like this are tolerable.

Me and my friends heard a lot of complaints about this movie... so we went to see it last Friday for ourselves, and we LOVED it. None of us can understand how anyone hated it, you know? Like, I know it's not the BEST movie in the world... but it was pretty damn good and Dakota Fanning was awesome. :)

I really liked the movie. The hongkong setting gave it something different and I liked the almost indie look to it, with the cut back scenes. It did keep me guessing.
I agree that there could have been something more in it, but for the most part really liked Dakota, Chris and Camilla

I saw the movie one hour ago and thought it was pretty good! I like the fact that the whole movie was not special effects though. The plot was good but a little hard to follow. The ending was awesome!

The movie was pretty good, I liked the way they made it seem more realistic then lets say x-men, spider man ect ect. Those movies seem so colorful you always in your mind see it as always being unrealistic. While Push made it seem like it could be posible since every one didnt wear briight super hero costumes. Idk how to explain it.

I just saw this movie a while ago and I think it was so-so.
Watcher, Sniffer, Bleeder, Screamer, Pusher, Shadow, Eraser(lol im just guessing, what do you call the one who erase memories?) and Mover.. Powers were just too awesome. lol
And the screamer guys... i want to shut his face up with his mouth wide open -_- pretty annoying role.

At first when I heard of it, I thought it was gonna be a sequel to jumper, because it reminded me of it so much. It was an...alright movie. Could've been a lot better: the plot, the action. Most of it dragged on..the best thing was Dakota's performance.

I loved Dakota's role in the movie. Her character was interesting. I saw thepart where she was acting drunk. It was kind of weird because she nevered played an adult role in a film b4. I reallt liked haer perfromance in the movie. I think that she was the highlight in the movie.

It reminds you of Jumper because it's marketed the exact same way. And the premise is pretty much copy and pasted from Jumper. Sure the powers are different and other things are a bit different but they changed just enough to make you think it's a different movie.

wth?! Twilight was based off of a BOOK which is also a series, so it only makes sense for the movies to continue on. Push was a great movie, but it should not have been compared to Twilight
