You can exit doors faster if you change weapons while the door is opening.

This works on ladders as well - if you browse weapons right before climbing a ladder you'll fly to the top at once.

2:24 The guards can't look through glass like Bond do. This is a bug or whatever that the creators didn't think of. They realized soon after that, that it is quite good that they can't see through glass, making the sneaking and agent-like atmosphere more intensive.

The guard around 1:20 goes from the mainframe room and down the hall with the camera (to the left of the room with the little alarm) and down that hallway under construction and turns around. That's his little area that he patrols.
