Please rectify that film Hamare Beti,1950, was produced by Shobhna Smarth (Nutan's mother) not K.Asif (Karim Asif) Composed by Snehl Bhatker,songs,Randhir, Cast Nutan , Shekher,Motilal,Shobhna Smarth,Aga ,K.N.Singh Pramila (kumar's wife) and baby Tanuja(Nutan's sister) also made her debut .

This song amazes me everytime I hear it. For me this son is one of all time greats. This song has that innocence in mood, lyrics of shailendra, lata dids voice and rendering for an innocent looking Nutan. Great are the music directors Shankar-Jaikishan who captures innocence (and simplicity) in every aspect. Long live all these immortals. I wish someone uploads a bit better audio quality. Thanks for uploading this rare gem which was lost/hidden in the depths of long gone era of golden music.

An immortal and complete melody! No flaw, blissful and dulcet (sweet & pleasing) composition of Shankar Jaikishan. This song always manages to makemy mind and soul float away and forget the stresses of life.Lata Mangeshkar a chandelier in music arena. Her contributions to this world would remain immortal. Such melodies are stimulant. This is one of my top favourites from one of the melody queens Lata Mangeshkar and the other one obviously Late Madam Noor Jehan. (14th July 2011)

Since I am also one of those who love the evergreen melodies from this part of the world has met thousands of ardent admirer who have expressed that the incorporation of this Echo ingredient has enhanced the quality of these songs. OMG, first to get Shahid Toosi's rendition of this melody and now this Lata song almost back to back. This is equal to getting two beautiful gifts from the same source the same day. Just wonderful. As for Nutan, she was one of maybe three most expressive stars from my perspective, the other two being Meena Kumari and Suchitra Sen, though my overall beloved galaxy is larger. She may have been the most intelligent, the most studious artiste even among the three. Thanks, Mirzaji and Guptaji.
