  • we need to donate and help them as soon as possible and not waste any sec

  • ha ha stupid kids

  • holy shit this is sooo fucked up i pray for those kids :(

  • i dont get the point of it...

why do they sniffling glue? ...

  • This is absurd. Teaching people how to bang on drums and play soccer? No wonder they're starving and sniffing glue. What a bright future they'll have now that they know how to sing and shake a plastic bag. The honor roll learn how to operate a camcorder! Great training for the 21st century economy!

  • why resort to sniffing glue...wats the point, really.....

  • @chlonn2cute4u The point is it suppresses their appetite, if you talk to these kids they would sooner be high than hungry. It's a real desperate situation, who knows what happens to them.

  • Thanks for your great work helping street kids in Kenya!

  • Good story. I like to see docs that dispel the myth that all poor Africans are hopeless, apathetic and just waiting to die. I wish these young intelligent journalists well as they go out to help Nairobi's poor, and anyone else who rely on their own will to power.

  • these african scumbags should die by death from worst possible nightmare!!!

  • @scottohscott I am going to kill you. I have a bullet waiting for you.

  • if they only knew what Jesus has for them! someone tell them! Send me!

  • there's plenty of churches and Jesus, they need relief from dire poverty...it is a terrible situation...so sad! I don't disagree with you, it is just a complex situation...

  • Nearly hold Africa is fucked! They have no money but it is the white people who in 1500-1600 took black people as slaves. Then the white people had the power in africa into 1950/1960 i think and then leaved africa in chaos... now it's fucking crazy what's goin' on down there! I thinked for a coople a years ago "It can't simpley go worse for Africa", but now there is to much crime and they fight n fight for the power... and the poor kids get raised up to fight...

    stop it!

  • dude shut your preachin ass up. the only place u've lived is in ur bubble of denmark , dude why are u mentioning africa in general name me 3 different african countries u actually knw, by bein there. dude whether u wanna burst ur ignorant bubble or not africa iz developing fast. and since i travel throughout the world in da 5 years i lived in africa. and i am a proud african

  • im from nairobi were u from

  • These countries government and rich make me sick! $500 billion and there in worse shape before that money is just sickening!

  • lol@african kids

  • Hello is anyone able to tell me is the presenter australian or english?

  • australian

  • we live in a greedy cruel world. its true the big people are always middleaged grey haired fat cats who are public school boys making all the dissisions when they have no clue what it feels like to not feel love or to go hungry. why should they decide where the money goes when they have no real understanding..why do we live in a world with soooo much greed. theres so much to around if only we'd share. naive i knw but why cant we be more compasionate to our fellow human beings.

  • It isn't easy to get stuff running in a country where even education system is now getting linked to politics. They only think of our little brothers and sisters for political gain and the whole thing goes up to the winds when the donor money is home and running. The three young people are doing a great job; something that isnt as easy as it seems on this clip.

  • yeah i really agree with that. people that go to help children have chances of dieing. it is all very hard. but there is some good rich peole but sadly theres not much that are good.

  • I see why the children nened glue to survive on the harsh streets. What they need is a home and adults who love and care for them. It takes the time to change the system that have worked against the needy..it's discouraging.. I see these 3 young people helping many children on the street. Hats off to them.

  • agreed man. bt i wud rather see em smoke some ganja instead - ma added comment . glue iz much more dangerous it literally destroys ur brain cells.

  • i didnt see acres of african weed in the film - more than likely glue is much easier for these kids to obtain

  • essential the glue is free. it is a tragic and deadly substance that destroys lives and families and communities...so so sad!

  • I'm asking the government why "....there's a lot of homeless people, but they build a lot of prison...." ??

  • Because most people who are homeless are homeless because they are into drugs or alcohol> Homeless shelters require people not to bring drugs or alcohol to there, so they're not allowed. Prisons are needed to put criminals there to protect normal people from them.

  • why are you doin that?

  • @rootdoctorabe becuase you fuckers always doing crime

  • A report by risk consultancy Kroll alleges that relatives and associates of Kenya's former president Moi siphoned off more than £1bn of government money. No one has been prosecuted. No money has been recovered. Africa's other kleptocrats 'include Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire (now Democratic Republic of Congo) and Nigeria's Sani Abacha.'

  • Street urchins on all continents use the same techniques for sniffing glue - one can justifiably wonder who told them they could get high on glue and how to do it...

  • ...and who provides them with the glue? Who sells or gives it to them? This definitely ought to be investigated.

  • probably u need to take a walk down the streets of Nairobi and u will definately see that u dont need to do an investigation to see who is selling glue to the young fellas. The glue thing isnt a problem of Nairobi alone, but something with major urban centres in most developing countries! And when the big men at the top steal, its all seen at the bottom where most people are. Very sad indeed!

  • Sad... :(
