  • Have you tryed heating up your curler with a hair dryer? Would not recommend it if you have shaky hands, but the curls do last longer

  • @Vickilovesdaryl I have tried that a couple times! It wked pretty good!

  • i use the HEAT eyelash curler after i use mascara (after mascara dry) it work!!!!! >w< you should try

  • @chickenbrod Yeah I like heated lash curlers a lot! They make a difference!

  • I recommend the sephora brand curler...it suits my mono lids and doesn't pinch!

  • @dominosoul Thank you! Next time I go to Sephora I will definitely check it out! :)

  • @HelloHannahCho btw, I've had mine for about three years, and it's still going strong! It's totally worth the money in my opinion.

  • @HelloHannahCho When you get it please do a review on it!! Thank you! :)

  • @HelloHannahCho Did you have any luck with the Sephora one? I'm still looking for an HG curler for my stubborn lashes.

  • @HappyLittleNinja Ah I actually haven't even tried it yet! I don't go to Sephora too often. Sorry! I still plan on trying it sometime though :)

  • Oh my gosh ! Love your videos, and I think you are SUPERRR pretty !!!! I don't know why people complain about you jumping all over the screen.. it makes the video fun and personally doesn't bother me.. lol.

  • @bchoneybee Thank you very much for this!! Your comment made my day!! :D

  • @HelloHannahCho haha, you're welcome.

  • Eyelashes stay curly.

  • @chloeandlukesmom Awesome! I'm gonna try that heated one next! Thanks for sharing!

  • I have the sephora heated eyelash curler and love it. My eyelids are just like yours too. It was the only thing that made my e

  • meaning you can get split end on your eyelashes? o.o

  • Only one semi negative comment. Don't "jump around" so much with your editing. Your all over the screen. Otherwise great vid!

  • @chicagostargirl Lol! Thanks so much! I know others have pointed out the jumping around thing so I'm gonna see about toning it down. Thanks for watching!

  • Can you make a review or tutorial on Revlon's "The No Pinch Mini Curler."

  • @818Smile Hmm I don't think I've ever seen it?? I will keep my eye out for it & see what I can do ;)

  • i'm so going to try the Shu Uemura cause my lashes are so hard to curl !

  • @angelababey I hope you like it as much as I do :)

  • Hey Hannah, Sephora doesn't carry Shu Uemura e/l curler any more and I was wondering if you repurchase where will you be buying it from? I'm curious because I'm wondering if Amazon is my only alternative in the U.S.

    thanks!

  • @victoriaindigo Oh man I didn't know that! I'm not even sure! What a bummer! If I find it anywhere else, I'll let you know. I'm really not big on getting stuff from online :/

  • I know why it stopped heating because u used it after mascara u should curl ur lashes first then use mascara don't you know that fact

  • @MsHamburgerpizza Well the box said it's better to use after you apply mascara :/

  • @MsHamburgerpizza Actually, you're supposed to apply mascara first, then curl. That way, the heat can melt a bit of the mascara a bit to create a more polished look.

  • you are soo cute! and soo fun to watch, too. haha!

  • @chryztyners Thanks!! :)

  • Very helpful! Thanks :) Love your videos!

  • @jekkajo Thx!! Glad it helped :)

  • @abc97able it's the one i'm using for a year now...it's nothing special...

  • Stop being so awesome! I'm trying to get my homework done D:<

    :)

  • @blueskyciara Ha! Thanks for making me smile!! :)

  • @Vumpi Thanks! I've tried that but still nothing. I think it just kicked the bucket :/

  • @gecko3359 Thanks! You're so nice :)

  • @gecko3359 Wow that is awesome to hear! Either I got a flook or you got a miracle one :)

  • i have the panasonic heated eyelash curler and it works pretty well. the battery lifespan is decent in my opinion. you should try it. dont know where you can get it in the US tho...

  • @cookiieedough29 Thanks for letting me know! I think that's going to be the next one I try! I will hunt it down :)

  • Thanks for the vid. I have stubborn asian lashes too, though I have long lashes..After I curl them, they kinda flopped after i apply mascara. Soooo frustrating. I really dont know what I did wrong..I've tried so many different brands they just dont work. so i skipped Mascara from my routine.

  • @jeraldine111 Yeah it is very frustrating! I have to really work to even get them to stay straight out & not fall down!

  • i guess i just love watching your videos because my eyelashes are naturally curly i don't need an eyelash curler :O lol

  • @SCplusKC Awe! Well that is awesome to hear! Thank you for watching :)

  • @HelloHannahCho no problem :D

  • hey hannah. have u heard of essence cosmetics? id love to see you make a review on them (: i heard they have great eyeliners

  • @MsRajeah I think maybe I've seen them at Ulta?? I shall look into them! Thanks for the suggestion!

  • i have bad eye lashes, they dont curl at all. but after trying out sephora heated eye lash curler i feel in love. it does a wonderful job and my eye lashes stay curl all day depending on the mascara i use. alot of ppl dont like it but it happens to work for me.

  • @tshovtom Yeah I think you're the first I've heard that likes it! I'm glad it works for you! What mascara's do you feel it works well with?

  • @HelloHannahCho i dont have a big collection on mascara but for me it works well with maybelline xxl pro, rimmel glam'eyes, and loreal double extend.

  • @tshovtom Ok great! Thanks for letting me know!

  • I have a Revlon eyelash curler, it's my favorite. It's not black and red... it's just normal, silver and black but still great.

  • @meadowfrance Cool! Sounds like Revlon knows what it's doing when it comes to eyelash curlers :)

  • i tried the sephora heated eye lash curler and it stopped working just like ur ulta one! i literally used it for a week and it broke! i tried switching the batteries as well and it just didnt work. fortunately sephora has an amazing refund and exchange policy so i exchanged it for another one BUT the new one broke again.. haha i just stick to my regular eye lash curler now

  • @JAMuliaK Ah! How frustrating! Thanks for letting me know though! I will not be trying the Sephora one!

  • i love your top. <3 its so cute

  • @spunkydramaqueen Thanks! :)

  • Ive seen a video to use a blow dryer to warm up your eyelash curler. I think it might work the same. I've tried it and it works pretty well :)

Just make sure when you blow dry your eyelash curler, test it on your skin before you put it to your eye.

  • @PinayJesska Thanks for the tip! I've tried it a couple times myself also but don't like how it melts my makeup :/ Maybe I'll try it before! :)

  • in a none lesbianic way, you have nice boobs!

  • @trolleroftheyear Well thank ya very much! I'm blushing! ;)

  • do more comedy stuff. or things other than makeup. i think you're super cool but almost all your videos now a days are all about make up. what the poo ;(

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15 LOL! Ok got it! I try to balance it out, but I shall work on doing more non makeup ones :)

  • I have super stubborn stick straight asian lashes like yours and i just take my hair dryer over my lash curler for about 10 seconds and "heat curl" them that way. Works wonders!

  • @cheeriochelle Thanks for the tip! I've tried that a few times but found it sortve melted my makeup. Maybe I'll try it in the beginning! Thanks again :)

  • DUDE try ELF's eye lash curler. It is AMAZING. You can find it for a DOLLAR at Target. Dolla dolla make ya holla!

  • @missmaggiemay19 LOL! I will def check it out! Thanks!! :)

  • I really like the Japenesqu ( not sure how to spell that) heated lash curler, its at Ulta and it works really well. Also, the revolution cage less lash curler from Urban Decay is awesome too and it comes with replacement rubber things :)

  • @summerbell1020 Ok I know exactly what items you're talking about! Thanks for letting me know because I've contemplated getting both before, but wasn't sure! Thank you!

  • I never tried it but i heard good reviews on Panasonic heated eyelash curler. I saw most popular gyarus use them, so im asuming its good.

  • @user350o Yeah I've heard some good stuff too! Thanks for letting me know!!

  • Do you put mascara on first and then curl??

  • @CRameYC I usually curl before, then apply mascara & if needed, will curl again :)

  • Can we see you without make-up sometime? :-)

  • @christineholmxb Ah I don't know! I hardly let anyone see or go anywhere w/out it!

  • I got a tip from a friend over the summer! You take any eyelash curler, and heat it up using your blow-dryer (on the lowest setting) for a few seconds. Test how hot it is by placing the curler on your chin, and if its around a hot-warm temp, just curl your eyelashes with it. ;) I do this all the time .. Its so easy

  • @whyelloitsjoh Thanks! I've tried it a couple times but found it kind of melts my makeup :( Maybe I'll try it before! Thank you for sharing!

  • its so cute how you move around from left to right to left , haha xD

  • @OHyarly Thanks! Not everyone likes it, so thanks for saying so! :)

  • I didnt know they had heated eyelash curlers! :O I just use the ELF $1 one and i get a lighter and light the top part and thats my home made heated eyelas curler(x My cousin one time had her eyelashes cut off by her eyelash curler, but they eventually grew back.

  • @chiwis417 I like your home made version! :) & that stinks that happened to your cousin. It's a fear of mine!!

  • Did you get a new tattoo?

  • @DaniDeelish I think she just added to it.

  • @DaniDeelish Kind of! I've slowly been adding to it or touching it up :)

  • It's pronounced SHOE OO-E-MOO-RAH. :D

  • @funabisenu Lol! Thanks! :)

  • I have short lashes too, I've also tried cheap versions of the heated lash curler from walmart. The best eye lash curler that actually made my short lashes go up. The Elf brand one is the best I highly recommend.

  • @champagnecupcakes Wow everyone keeps saying that! I am def gonna try it out! Thanks!

  • shu uemura is a asian brand, their eyelash curler 's curve is a little more "asian" haha i guess thats wy its so popular for asians <3 LIKE MEEEEE

  • @karenbee1996 Yeah it's great for my asian eyes :)

  • Great video! I always kinda scoffed at heated eyelash curlers, but now I'm interested. I use a dinky $3 one from Walmart, I think it's the New York Color brand. I've been using it for like two years, and amazingly, the little cushion thing hasn't worn down that much and it still works really well. Just a suggestion! :D

  • @ChipOffTheOldBlock99 Thanks for the suggestion! I know what brand you're talking about & will check it out! :)

  • Have you touched up on your nails from previous videos or do they really last that long?

  • @fantasyfrenzies I've so touched them up! I do my nails every 1 or 2 weeks :)

  • tips on using heated lash curler:

curl them with the heated lash curler BEFORE putting mascara, use waterproof mascara, it holds the curls better x

  • @gothgirl1989 Cool! Thanks for the tips! I shall try it! :)

  • @arawrsies2 I love that curler! Ive had it for about two years now and its perfect :)

  • if you look at the revlon packaging for the eyelash curler at the store it should say somewhere on it that you can get free replacement pads by calling a number (:

  • @neonm402 Whoa! I did not know that! Thanks!!

  • Comment removed

  • Urban Decay has a new eyelash curler called "Revolution Lash Curler", it is $20.

  • @Pinuplovely87 Thanks for letting me know! You're the 2nd person to mention it. I shall check it out :)

  • @HelloHannahCho Your welcome, glad I could help! ;)

  • OMG OMG you should try using vasiline put it on your eyelashes at night and overnight your eyelashes grow!!!! i tried it and it worked to you should try it :) and and and it makes your eyelashes look bold too :P

  • @sasauvy Interesting! Just straight up vasiline?? I shall give it a try!

  • i agree that sometimes you just have to splurge on something that, yes, you can probably get much, much cheaper, but if it's your thing, then go for it! i.e. . . your $22 eye lash curler. for me it's my colorscience mineral pressed powder. it's $50, and yes, i can get 100 different mineral pressed powders for cheaper, and i have, and they just don't cut it . . . . so, i buy wet n' wild eye shadows and wait for loreal to go on sale to get mascara. you go girl, you rock your overly priced curler!

  • @missrosieglow Lol! Thanks for this great comment! I'm glad someone understands where I'm comin from :)

  • Hey hannah! you should try the elf 1$ eye lash curler it's amazing! after i tried it i never really used any other eyelash curler after! (:

  • @Arawrsies2 Cool! Thanks for the suggestion! I think I'm def gonna check it out!

  • I think that if you did the eyeliner a bit thinner, your lashes would stand out better and look longer =P

  • @Mimelo13 Very true!

  • I got a 1000hour heated eyelash curler years and years ago for around $20 here which is considered cheap in Australia. It doesn't do much for me, i used it maybe to test it out and neglected it since. Have you tried cleaning it? Old bits of mascara could be on the heated tube which can act as a layer so the heat doesn't touch your lashes when you use it anymore. My one came with a tiny tiny brush to clean with. :D

  • @t07061988 Thanks for letting me know about that one! & yeah I've tried cleaning it & still nothing! So frustrating!

  • wow how many times a day do you use it?

  • @spritedrin Use what?

  • Thanks for the review! I used to try using before, but then I stopped when it didn't really do much for me. I have a fear of using eyelash curlers. I had a friend who once used an eyelash curler (I don't recall the brand, probably its just some no-name mascara) and it LITERALLY CUT OFF her lashes... I was like...WTH?! Scary T^T So now...I just use mascara. But eventually I will go back to looking for one. =) Maybe I'll try this Shu Eumoo whatevah XDD

  • @aicirt3 Lol! Man that sounds awful! I would be so sad if that happened to me! Yeah whenever you're ready to explore curlers again, I would def recommend it :)

  • i use a cheap no brand eyelash curler from this huge asian warehouse place and i love it! ive used expensive eyelash curlers and i honestly jst hate them! i want to get a heated eyelash curler for my bottom lashes bcuz mine goes straight out and not down! thanks for the entertaining review, as always!!

  • @t0MaToe You're welcome! Thank you for watching & sharing this info! I feel ya on the lashes going straight out thing :)

  • why dont you wear false lashes instead :o?

&& i tried the wet n' wild gel liner, I LOVE IT :D

  • @BriannaBangsBatman Awe I'm glad to hear that! & I've worn false lashes before but they were kind of a lot of wk for me & annoying :/

  • try the heated eyelash curler from avon it works great !

  • @hoboghost07 Interesting! First Avon suggestion I've gotten! I will look into it :) Thanks!

  • @hoboghost07 Interesting! First Avon suggestion I've gotten! I will look into it :) Thanks!

  • i tried the sephora heated eyelash curler... and its not awesome

i heard the shiseido eyelash curler is perfect for asian eyes... maybe try that?

  • @lahee Yeah I've heard good things about the Shiseido one! I def might try it! Thanks!

  • Have you seen the new Urban Decay one?

  • @koalaXluv No I have not. Is it good?

  • hmm first time i ever heard of heated lash curlers :O

  • @ZehnterMuharam Oh yeah? I don't think they're super well known.

  • i bought a really cheap $2 heated eyelash curler on ebay..Best purchase ever :) Does wonders to my lashes :D

Also, some heated eyelash curlers work better on certain types of mascaras !

I recommend trying the dejavu fibrewig mascara :)

  • @wendiieex3 Ok awesome! Thanks for the info & suggestion!

  • your cats <3

  • I usually just clamp my eyelash curler with my straightener!

  • @beneathyourlove Interesting! Thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll try it!!

  • I use "1000hours" heated lash curler. It's alright but I;ve heard really good things about Panasonic heated curler.

  • @XJuicyPeach Hmm ok! Thanks for sharing!! I'm leaning twds trying the Panasonic one :)

  • try the panasonic heated eyelash curler!! though its a bit expensive

  • @itsliyana Ok thanks for the suggestion! :)

  • Panasonic heated lash curler, I got mines off of eBay for $12 and it works pretty great. My stubborn eyelashes finally became long and curled, and stayed up the whole day! For mascara, I really like fairydrops. It makes my eyelashes thick and shiny.

  • @kately89 Awesome! Thank you for letting me know! I've heard of both the items you named & will check them out :)

  • you should try hypnose mascara from lancome it is amazing it really makes your lashes look like falses ..its worth the money i love it

  • @anniexd10 Cool! Thanks for the suggestion! I'm thinking of trying more high end products & will def check this one out :)

  • you would look so pretty with layers and side layered bangs (:

  • I heat the brushes of my regualr eyebrow grooming thingy. I run it back and forth on a hot iron curling iron whatever ... and I brush them myself. Works good for prep before my regime.

  • @ShannR414 That is an awesome idea!! Thanks for sharing! I will try that out :)

  • lol i have ONE mono lid. it makes me look SO weird! especially my one weird eyelashes but its okay! cause being asian is AWESOME lol

  • @IHeartMusicAndSnow me too!! it's annoying when i use makeup, but i've learned to love it.. ha

  • @IHeartMusicAndSnow My sis has the same thing! One monolid & one double! You are not alone pal! & yes, us asians rock :)

  • @IHeartMusicAndSnow My sis has the same thing! One monolid & one double! You are not alone pal! & yes, us asians rock :)

  • You should try fake eyelashes they are awesome ....saves a lot of time instead of spending a long time clumping mascara, ik that struggle :)

  • @Stephybadass Ah I've never become a fan of fake lashes. I went through a stage when I wore them alot but they were always extra work! & I didn't like that I could feel them all the time. Maybe I'll try them again or for special occasions :)

  • Wait, what? New tattoo?!??! or are my eyes tricking me...

  • @amcoffey723 Lol! Sort've new. It's a constant work in progress!

  • I have some Japanese brand of a heated lash curler, I have mono lids and straight down lashes too and it SUCKS for me. Maybe heated ones weren't meant for our mono lids ! :c

  • @cateezy Ah that's kind of a downer to hear! Sorry it didn't work for you! There's gotta be something out there for us monoliders :)

  • @Serieboo Oh okay then don't watch it. Problem solved.

  • trust me i tried the revlon heated eyelash curler. It can help my brows stay in place. but not my lashes =(

  • @Veronicaboost Ah that's a bummer! Thanks for letting me know though :)
