  • love ur videos being African American lady i appreciate all the help and info u can give thanks

  • hey can i use this oil in summers too?( at night obviously

    0

  • Oh I also use Palmers Skin Success on my acne scars. I'm 28. But I look 21. These old products really work.

  • I love your video its great. I read a few comments, and people said they returned their Palmers cocoa butter, because its not 100% natural. People you can use either or. The natural or Palmers formula. Each product takes time to work. So be patient. My mom has used Palmers on me, since age 8 to clear my chicken pox scars, and my skin is beautiful. No scars. No nothing. So don't run back to your local drug store and return the Palmers product. It's a great product that really works.

  • wow not often you meet a man that knows more about women's beauty then an actual woman hersefl. I LOVE following your tutorials :D

  • DAVID BLAINE

  • he he he you are funny!! can you do a vid on almond oil for wrinkles thanks.

  • sooo my stepdad had abrand new stick of cocoa butter and it said 100% cocoa buter so ima use it on acne scars!

  • Do not use the liquid form. Natural Cocoa butter is solid at room temperature. Anything else is unhealthy for the skin. Same for Shea butter. Buy the raw form from the African markets, if possible. Palmers is not the best product, as it is commercially processed, adding unnatural ingredients.

  • Cocoa butter is nice and smells good, but @DieDwieStefani is right. about using it for stretch marks. It will not do much for old marks. I have used a gazillion creams, etc...basically everything except laser surgery, and nothing gets rid of them. I have found some creams that makes them a little better, but I have yet to find any that gets rid of them. I really wish I knew the products that the famous people use to get rid of them.

  • OOOHHHMAAAH GAWD i have it now and it smells like chocolate and im using it as lipbalm and im in looooovvvveeee

  • Individuals with Scalp Psoriasis are half of the psoriasis population. The harshness of flaking ranges from petite dandruff-like flakes to plaques with thick, grey scales.Scalp psoriasis often extends past the hairline down onto the face, and on the backs of the ear. Severe scaling and flaking from psoriasis cause most psoriasis victims to experience embarrassment and emotional distress. The American Institute of Advanced Medicine offers treatment for scalp psoriasis and other skin disorders.

  • You're right coco butter works well for many things. Thanks for the review.

  • the Cocoa butter I have is from Palmer's, but I didnt realize at the time, that it says Cocoa Butter FORMULA... its not pure... damn! im just putting garbage on my skin (and it contains alcohol so i guess im actually drying out my skin using that!)

  • @blonka123 I actually went to the grocery store earlier before watching this video to get some cocoa butter. I hadn't used it in a little while and I bought the usual Palmers. I decided to watch some videos and saw your post. I did some research and just got back from returning it and getting my money back. Thanks for the heads up because I never thought too much of it either when it said "formula" and not 100% cocoa butter.

  • ok, I definitely need to get the 100% pure stuff!

  • @JGFallen and under the eyes!

  • Should I use cocoa butter for acne.

  • @MrCatzebra No! cocoa butter is NOT good for acne. It will break you out. You should not use it if you have acne prone skin....

  • i find that cocoa butter takes FOREVER to dry!! my skin is still oily the next day from it! And it is full of terrible ingredients, nothing natural!

Won't it make your wrinkles around your eyes (I have wrinkles) worse since it is so oild and heavy?? Help, i need to reduce my wrinkels under my eyes!!

  • @blonka123 Cocoa butter is great for antiaging....it has fatty acids which help to hudrate and strengthen the skin! It sounds like you are not using 100% pure cocoa butter, but a product with cocoa butter in it. You can tell true cocoa buttter when it is in a stick form, and melts when heated...

  • I was looking for the answer to whether or not I could replace my "chemical" moisturizer with my cocoa butter stick. You definitely answered that for me, so thanks!

  • @scottkrys you're welcome...as long as you don't have acne prone skin, you can use it

  • thanks for the tips. I think I'll buy cocoa butter and make it into a massage candle to apply to my whole body, I think I will try that next week, I hope it works, but i really don't see why it wouldn't.

  • @cisspgirl I recently got into making candles...I haven't tried cocoa butter, though. Only Soy

  • i use Queen Helene cocoa butter stick on everythinggg lol it gets rid of spots on my face, cuticles, eyecream, lipbalm, shavin rash etcc xx and im WHITE :P

  • @XxAysha16xX hahaha! well, it's not only for ethnic people...it just seems that caucasians don't use it as much for some reason....

  • Can coco butter help get rid of stretch marks? if so how and where do i apply ?

  • i used ultra glow cocoa butter on my face for dark spots. it didnt break me out at all! my skin felt smooth and much better. i have to say that i dont have terrible acne, some breakouts as everybody. maybe you breakout if you have strong acne. i just use it to lighten up the dark spots :)

  • @DieDwieStefani cocoa butter is best for stretch marks when applied WHILE you are pregnant. It's not as effective after. Just apply it whereever you see stretch marks

  • good video

  • I love your videos! You can tell that you really know what you're talking about! Thanks!

  • @bkreglo I try! but fifteen years selling cosmetics, you learn something...

  • So does this make you black?

  • @agentzerobest wtf HAHAHAHA

  • is cocoa butter lotion just as good?

  • @m00035 its not as pure. plus, it usually has petroleum in it...yuch

  • O LAWD IS DAT SUM COCOA BUTTA. I NEEDZ ME SUM OF DAT SHIT

  • @JGFallen I am white and use cocoa butter too, but I'm a Mid-Westerner. My heliophobic skin is so white, I could clown white for foundation. The first cocoa butter stick I found in the ethnic skin care aisle wasn't pure, and had mineral oil and flowery fragrance, which I didn't like, especially if I wanted to use it as a lip balm. I found the Woltra Stik 100% Cocoa Butter for $1.21 at my HyVee grocery, in the general moisturizer aisle. I keep hoarding them when I see them, and have about 8 now.

  • @MissJupiterWheels I'm telling you, it's the best beauty deal in any store

  • Comment removed

  • I just got a cocoa butter stick for stretch marks after work because I saw your video earlier today, it was so cheap and it smells sooo good. Thank you so much!

  • I mix cocoa butter, shea butter (by the raw form), Vitamin E, Coconut oil and olive oil and have for 10 years and I get carded for beer in the US still... it makes you look younger.

  • you got ripped i got palmers oil for 4.99 kmart

  • @doggbrown1 Hahaha

  • @JokersFollower im glad someone found that funny lol. it was meant only for JOKES. or maybe it does leave you smelling like.....

  • is cocoa butter or aloe vera better to get rid of scars?

  • @gacel92 I don't like to use the term "get rid of". but Cocoa butter has been used for years to help reduce the appearance of scarring.

  • i use a tub of hawaiin tropic cocoa butter, ,,,,,my skins so dry with my diabetes , its way improved now

  • Hi Chris. My local health store sells extra virgin coconut oil. Does this work as well as the cocoa butter? Also, is Ambi clear good for getting rid of dark patches? Lastly, what order should I apply these 3 products, cocoa oil, sun block, Ambi clear? I am a 40 year old mixed race male. I have learnt a ton of stuff from your video's. Keep up the great work. Many, many thanks bro.

  • Palmer's has a fragrance free bottle now...hooray

  • ok i wanna use the cocoa butter because i heard that its good for scars but im kinda scared of acne i use to have acne and its clearing but now but i wanna get rid of a scar that i have right between my eyes any advice?

  • I just bought some because of stretch marks i just developed and i've only been using it for 3 days and i don't know if its just me but i'm already seeing results. I'll be using it everyday from now on.

  • Is it better to eat cocoa butter than rubbing it on your body?

Which is better cocoa or shea?

  • I'm Hispanic and i have tan skin. I LOVE cocoa butter. I use a cocoa butter stick similar to the one you have on this video except that the one I bought at Sallys is from Cococare and it's also 100% cocoa. I just ordered a few cocoa butter products from Lucky Vitamin. I wil be reviewing all of these products pretty soon on my channel.

  • cocoa butter is awesome.. Ive been using this for months now because i had stretchmarks from gaining weight, and its getting lighter now..i massaged it like couple of times a day...

  • It's the same thing!!!

  • @cdrum30 Red Foxx Coca Butter (yes with 2 x's) is also good; it has a petroleum consistency. Unfortunately it is extremely oily so you have to use it sparingly. I have extremely dry skin in the winter and it helps alot, I mix it with a little lotion and it's also good for fading dark spots and your feet.

  • @tanyatmr I mix it with lotion too, keeps me moist all day long!

  • I can't use anything under my eyes... I have milia, an milia is not acne..

But I'd like to know which is better for the skin, the shea butter or cocoa butter?

  • Great info! Thanks bro! I wonder if I can get this in New Zealand. Maybe the Chinese store has it

  • john legend

  • I *love* cocoa butter - it has sooo transformed my skin; especially my face! I got 1/2 a lb. of organic cocoa butter for around 8$ from butters n bars. When I get my order I melt about 3 TBs of CB down with coconut oil with a little bit of Vit E and pour it into a container with a lid. Every time I step out of the shower or finish washing my face I drag my thumbnail across the butter, rub it between my palms and apply where dry!! An added bonus is that the scent certainly turns heads! ;)

  • omg i dont know how i havent discover you but im glad i did. haha thanks for your amaizing videos.. so interesting i love beauty gurus like your style

  • I made my own cocoa butter with less than 4 pounds of cocoa seeds... It gives you around 1 1/2 pounds of cocoa butter, and each pound costs about 1 usd in my hometown, so... It was pretty cheap I think. 4 usd for 1 1/2 pounds of pure cocoa butter... I'll share the recipe if you want it just email me okie??

I also know how to extract the coconut oil... It's really simple and you can do it at home.

    =D

  • i try cocoa butter alot and it takes FOEVER to get rid of marks but it works

  • I'm a white girl that LOVES her cocoa butter! lol My mom used to use it too. My skin craves cocoa butter in the winter time, and it has saved me from scratching all the time. LOVE THIS!

  • 5 stars... thank you

  • lionel ritchie

  • how much do dat oil cost

  • If you want to use cocoa butter get the natural raw cocoa butter, that's the only and best thing to get anything else its not as great...well not natural. :)

  • Also Can you run warm water on the cocoa butter to Warm it up?

  • Also when i apply cocoa butter its really oily should i run it all the way in? or its meant to leave the skin oily?

  • Could you warm the cocoa butter up, if you apply aloe vera gel to your skin first without completely rubbing it all the way in and then rub the cococa butter on, while the aloe veral gel is still wet?

  • I get the really raw kind that you can eat. I get the raw coconut oil that I eat, put on my skin and hair. I also get raw shea butter (which I don't eat it but I heard Africans do). Yeah If I cant eat it, I don't put it on my skin/hair. It cost more, but it works wonders.

  • I LOVE my cocoa butter!!!! Its probably my FAVORITE thing in my whole makeup kit! ...what doesn't it do!? lol

    p.s. I'm a new subscriber, I love your videos already! =)

  • i have oily skin... would the cream work for me without giving me acne?

  • "Does that make sense? ...It will!"

haha. you're so charismatic. i love watching your vids. i actually picked me up some cocoa butter. i hope it works for me. : )

  • I get hormonal acne (and have incredibly dry skin) and I have been slathering cocoa butter all over my face for the past week. I haven't gotten a single blemish and my skin looks amazing :) I don't think it clogs poors.. I cleanse at night and in the morning and my skin as I said looks better than it ever has.

  • I hear cocoa butter helps scars fade. Is this true?

  • yesssssss. i have gotten rid of so many potential scars with it! im not saying popping pimples is good...i do it alllll the time though. and i do not have any acne scars due to the fact that i use it!!

  • really? hope it works for my scar. Thanxs!

  • what you need to do is put cocoa butter on the scar and massage it in like 2 times a day and over maybe a couple weeks it'll be faded.

  • i use palmer cocoa butter formula...its grddd;)x

  • can you use it on your face then..?

  • thanks for the tip.

btw you look like chuloonthe6 on youtube hehe (:

  • black skin care darlin.....all of us aren't american

  • u said i cant use it on my scne but i have darkspots on my face wth!!

  • i love u for this...growing up my mom always keot cocoa butter in the house..lol

  • Wow. you're right about the eyelashes... and the best part is, it's totally natural!

  • Just get the pure stuff. 100% Cocoa butter. Make sure it's organic.

  • @IRUKAIO. u can buy cocoa butter at ur local store. and its probably around $5 and up. i got a big one for $7.

  • organic?how much would it cost?

and does it return your natural skin tone?

  • Is cocoa butter why african-americans have beautiful, radiant skin?!?! If so, I'm so going to go buy some.

  • @Maria112169 i think so

  • @Maria112169 Every Black/ Creole/ Carribean/ Multiracial/ African household Booboo.

  • cocoa butter is really amazing

  • I can't seem to find a cocoa butter that is petroleum-free and free of mineral oil as well...any ideas?

    Peace

  • Okay I'm replying to myself...lol, but I wanna put the info out there for others...I have found a petroleum-free mineral oil-free cocoa butter stick. It is from a company called Woltra. It specifically says "Stik 100% Cocoa Butter" with the Woltra logo above it. According to the package they have been making products since 1923! I love what it has done for my lashes, I apply at bedtime.

    Peace

  • I'm a white girl and I've used cocoa butter for years now. I use it before I get in the sun and it's a natural sun protector. I'm super light, NW15 for MAC, and cocoa butter is supergood. I burn easily and this really is a natural sun protector!

  • I've used Hollywood Beauty cocoa butter for many years, and my skin was beautiful. People were asking me all the time what I use on my skin. I think I'll be using it again to moisturise my skin at night.

  • i got that 1 n like 2 or 3 others

  • that cocoa butter stuff does WORK!!..cocoa utter is a must have!!!!

  • utter? hehehehehehe

  • Hey, so i grow a beard for religious purposes, and I tend to have oily skin..so i was wondering what tips you have for skincare in that situation. (not to mention it feels like my beard dries out....is there a such thing as beard care?)

    thanks!

  • You have beautiful skin!!! which made me subscribe...

  • I'm native american and white and I use cocoa butter everyday..I love it!

  • i am "white"...and i have used cocoa butter for over 20 years......it is amazing stuff...for every skin type. my daughter is biracial and since day one i have slathered her from head to toe with palmer's cocoa butter lotion....her skin is stunning....i highly recommend palmer's to everyone.

  • thankyou very much :)

  • also, you shouldn't be scrubbing your face if you have acne. Please watch my videos on how to clear up acne to get the proper help!

  • ok so i have ance problems but some people have told me that cocoa butter is good to use after u do a scrub on ur face to get rid of ance, but then u say not to use if u have ance.. now im confused lol

  • absolutely do NOT use cocoa butter on your face if you have acne. It will definitely clog your pores. Just use an oil-free moisturizer and a glycolic product to clear it up. Trust me. I know what I'm talking about. I don't know who told you this, but it is WRONG!!!!!

  • cocoa butter stick is dope cause its %100..also raw shea butter is the bomb for shaving and just everything. black soap is another amazing product for the skin, for men and woman.

  • black soap? im half filipina-dutch i use papaya soap cause it whitens and clears skin... what does black soap do?

  • african black soap deep cleans the pores..its high in vitimins and works amazing for cleaning pimples, it makes the skin super smooth n soft. google it, the one i use is dudu osun and it contains extra properties but the original formula is the one made in ghana. dudu osun u can find online or in african shops they sell it or some beauty supply stores.

  • thank you so much! You are a wealth of info. I haven't used this since I was a little girl. My mom used to put it on my elbows so they would be soft and on my knee caps. (I have pretty knees LOL)

  • so what is wrong with dimethicone. BTW you are very good looking. I am jelous!

  • I LOVE cocoa butter smell. Thanks for this video as I never thought of all the different uses for it. DUH!

    = D

  • Same here,smell is fantastic!

  • hahahaha I loved the intro! Hellooo friend! ;)

  • Thanks Chris

  • yeah, shea butter doesn't smell like chocolate, but it's also more expensive

  • You sounded like Lurch! You rang? :) Are you gonna tell me where to get that shirt? I gots to get me one of those! It's pay-day Yeah! I just ordered some Saude De Pele and I can't wait to get it. Your visual with the cocoa butter stick cracked me up. What ideas? I'm not getting any ideas. (Still cracking me up! :)

  • I got the shirt at American Apparel. I cut ithe "v" myself, as that color didn't come in a v-neck

  • what a great tip! Thank u so much for sharing it with us! :)

  • no problem!! Thankis for watching!

  • I love the stick cocoa butter, you hit the hammer on the nail on this one.

    Great video

  • It's the best beauty buy out there....so cheap and so effective

  • lmao . u are so cute. we need to hang out in nyc!

  • I try!! hee hee

  • I love cocoa butter it rocks!

  • I know...it's the BEST

  • Is it better than shea butter? I love shea butter.

  • yay!!! I use it as a body moisturizer in the winter because I get really dry skin in the winter :(

    Cocoa butter's grrrrrrrreat!

  • What about lotion form? I've always bought cocoa butter in a lotion...

  • The lotion form has more additives in it than the oil.

But, it's all about preference. Look in the ingredients and see how far down the Cocoa butter is...

  • you actually answered the question I wanted to ask. Thanks. I just broke out yesterday after shaving against the grain, any tips on a clear face without using all the different products?

  • Shaving!! That's another great topic....if you are prone to ingrown hairs, NEVER shave against the grain....

And use a shace CREAM, not a GEL. Don't buy the cheap stuff in a can, get a professional shave cream from an expert.

  • i love cocoa butter!

  • It's the bomb!

  • I LOVE cocoa butter as well as coconut oil ... I use almond oil as a face moisturizer.

  • great! Almond oil will not clog pores, so it is a great moisturizer. It's a little too heavy for me, but it's all about preference!!!
