Kyle and Amanda were soulmates from the pilot episode its so obvious Kyle loved her and she loved him. Jessi was just a annoying whiny brat who wormed her way into the Trager family because her science lab got blown up. Kyle always loved only Amanda and all he ever did was try and help Jessi and she messed up his life.

Amanda. Just because Jessi is needy doesnt mean she deserves Kyle. Kyle loves only Amanda. He never stated anyplace he loved Jessi he said he had feelings for her. But still she chased him and tried hard to break up Kyle and Amanda but that never really happened. The producers never allowed Kyle to completely tell Amanda which was a lame plot device to keep Jessi in the conversation.
She is realy good person deeply in the heart and with Kyle she can be even better. With Amanda he can't have sincere relatinship., he can' tell her the truth. And for Jessi is Kyle point of her life and she needs someone to watch her.
There's a virtual season 4 of Kyle XY that I found. It's interesting, but it makes me want to cry that that's all we have to look forward to now. I don't know if I could hate ABC Family more than I do now. :(
I think Jessi ratting Amanda out to her mom was just Jessi being selfish and mean. She was like a child that wanted to have her favorite toy all to herself. And children need to learn that kind of attitude just doesn't fly.
And if you took Kyle out of loop, I think Amanda and Jessi could be very interesting because they're so different.They could each learn something that they might not have learned otherwise. They say opposites attract and I think that applies to friendships too. And I also wanted to see more sisterly fights with Jessi and Lori. That was kind of cute.
Oh, I'm not saying it wouldn't have been funny and interesting to watch but ultimately I don't think their friendship would have been able to survive (or not until Kyle "chose" - or rather, rejected them both) because they both were in love with the same guy and he can't be 'shared' in that way. lmao.
And Amanda can get judged just as unfairly. They call her whiny and bitchy, but no one's ever bothered to try and see how all of this looks from her POV. And I even started to like Jessi a lot more in the final episodes, but I find that Kessi fans aren't even willing to lighten up on Amanda even a little bit. Amanda's the bitch and Jessi is the perfect and fragile little girl who never has to take responsibility for the things she does. She just gets more excuses.
Ok this is turning into a little more than I wanted.
But for the record, Jessi DID try to take responsibility for things. She saw how it affected the ppl around her&learned from it. EVERY time. The biggest example is Chem101 when Jessi goes to Amanda and tells her to get back with Kyle (which A DOES try to do). The necklace switch was Jessi acting off of advice from Lori but upon learning that manipulation is not how you deserve to be with someone, she redeemed herself by approaching Amanda.
Really though, the show is over and I don't see us agreeing on these points because the way you see Amanda is the way I see Jessi. *each from their different POV's* *shrug* It is the way it is.
I think both girls could be bitchy at times and BOTH had "excuses" for acting that way.
And I think both girls were viable options for Kyle to choose from.
However, we'll never see eye to eye on who that person should end up being.
Oh, I wasn't talking to you about that. I completely agree with you there. I was very proud of Jessi there. I wanted to hug her because I was so proud of her. I was never talking about her in the final episodes because I really enjoyed Jessi in the final episodes. Still didn't want her with Kyle, but I was really looking forward to seeing her grow some more and I was hoping to see maybe a budding friendship between Amanda and Jessi. But I'm a softy and want people to get along. Lol. :)

I don't think it was payback, I think it was because almost as long as she's known Jessi, Jessi's been mean to her or involved in something mean and you can't really blame Amanda for that. She doesn't know everything that the Tragers do. She doesn't know about Zzyzzx or anything like that.
Ok,wait a minute, if this is the reasoning for Amanda's behaviour - then how can you blame Jessi for the phone call when it was BECAUSE of Zzyzyx (through their manipulation and destruction in Jessi's entire life) that she did it in the first place. She had been abandoned and juggled around so much and Kyle was the only one TRUE thing she had to hold onto. I'm not saying it was Jessi's finest moment but surely you can see how desperate she was.
See, I've gotten into this discussion before and one thing that really bugs me is how Kessi choose to use the Zzyzzx card whenever they want. It's okay to say it's all Zzyzzx's fault when they want to excuse every mean and bad thing Jessi does, but apparently it's impossible that Zzyzzx could play a big part in her feelings for Kyle. Kessi fans can't have it both ways, either Zzyzzx was responsible or they aren't. And after the first half of season 2, I don't think they were.
Wait another second, though; emotional problems do not just DISAPPEAR overnight! And ESPECIALLY in Jessi's case. Sometimes it takes years and years to truly overcome/deal with a psychological issue (and in Jessi's case one that was thrust upon her from day 1). I'm not saying we can blame Zzyzzx for all bad things she did but she hasn't had the easiest life, maybe just cut her a little more slack &try to see where her actions are rooted. Jessi is a good person at heart&wants to be better.
And as for her feelings for Kyle, I don't think it was ever FULLY Zzyzzx. From the moment she escaped, she was drawn to him and those feelings only grew with everything that happened between them. She fell in love with Kyle - the person - NOT Kyle the clone.
I can understand what she's been through, but that doesn't mean I'm going to excuse her every time she does something bad like everybody else does. That girl could probably run somebody over with a car and it would be hunky dory with everybody else because she's had it hard. I believe that Jessi is good person, but I think she has some darkness in her and I won't ignore it just to keep her in a good light.

Exactly. Ultimately we are all responsible for our own actions. Much has been made of the fact that Jessi had a hard life but in fact from the very first she never smiled say when she was lost in the woods. Kyle didnt have it easy at first either but he always smiled. He was attacked by a snake and yet he did not kill the snake he released it. Jessi would most probably have killed it. Kyle was arrested and then attacked and yet he still smiled. Kyle + Amanda!
Yes, but sadly some people are perfectly okay with excusing everything a person does as long as they like that person. Agreed. I am very sad that the series was cancelled and that the final episode left everything with absolutely zero closure for any of the characters. I am praying that someone picks it up and at least does a mini series that will end all the story lines. Hopefully with Kyle and Amanda intact.

Well, I actually have found some flaws about Amanda. And I've talked to some Kymanda fans who have also commented on things they didn't like about her. Heck, we've even found flaws in Kyle too. I was just saying that from what I've seen from Kessi fans, Jessi's the only perfect one. I would be shocked if I talked to a Jessi fan who actually admitted that Jessi had her bitchy moments too without giving her a big excuse. Not trying to start a fight either, just talking about what I've experienced.

Jessi didn't have the same upbringing as Kyle, so you can't expect the same things of her. She is trying to learn to be better. And I don't find K/A fans accept that.

Kyle and Jessi. Personally the way I see it..even if amanda and kyle were to be together, it wouldn't work. Kyle has it in his mind that he will never leave jessi, and eventhough he knows perfectly well that she can protect herself, he still watches over her. Amanda would always be jealous and paranoid, so the relationship would eventually just break itself up. Kyle and jessi just have everything in common and meant to be together.

I am for Jessi, because I really think that her and kyle need each other. In season 2, Piper had to choose Leo or Dan, but she didn't need magic to find her true love because she knew in her heart that Leo was and forever will be her true love. Jessi for sure. Each has what the other needs: Kyle needs more of Jessi's edge and will to be better, and Jessi needs some of Kyle's balance and ability to keep grounded. They complement each other in every way, and together they can be larger than life (romantic and ability-wise). Plus, like someone pointed out, Kyle and Amanda are deadly boring! *And* have no chemistry!
True but Jessi's also the biggest set back imaginable for kyle. Every time he almost comes to a break through Jessi does something stupid and he has to cover for her. He'd be to busy taking care of her to take care of herself.
Yes. She made mistakes, she isn't flawless (which makes the character more interesting/realistic and also makes me like her even more). She made mistakes 'cause while trying to discover who she really was, she (unlike Kyle) was misguided and even programmed early on. But when it truly mattered she came through for him disregarding her own well being and I bet that will be a constant. I believe both will benefit more together, more than they would if he stayed with Amanda. And we'd dodge boredom.

1. Amanda is boring! What makes a good tv couple is drama and action, and they get neither. All that happens in her perfect little world is, "Oh no! There isn't a caterer for the prom! What ever shall I do?"
2. Jaimie Alexander is hotter than Kirsten Prout. Im not saying Kirsten is not hot, just that Jaimie is definitely way more up to Matt Dallas standards.

Kyle and Amanda were soulmates from the pilot episode its so obvious Kyle loved her and she loved him. Jessi was just a annoying whiny brat who wormed her way into the Trager family because her science lab got blown up. Kyle always loved only Amanda and all he ever did was try and help Jessi and she messed up his life.

Amanda. Just because Jessi is needy doesnt mean she deserves Kyle. Kyle loves only Amanda. He never stated anyplace he loved Jessi he said he had feelings for her. But still she chased him and tried hard to break up Kyle and Amanda but that never really happened. The producers never allowed Kyle to completely tell Amanda which was a lame plot device to keep Jessi in the conversation.

And Amanda can get judged just as unfairly. They call her whiny and bitchy, but no one's ever bothered to try and see how all of this looks from her POV. And I even started to like Jessi a lot more in the final episodes, but I find that Kessi fans aren't even willing to lighten up on Amanda even a little bit. Amanda's the bitch and Jessi is the perfect and fragile little girl who never has to take responsibility for the things she does. She just gets more excuses.

Ok this is turning into a little more than I wanted.
But for the record, Jessi DID try to take responsibility for things. She saw how it affected the ppl around her&learned from it. EVERY time. The biggest example is Chem101 when Jessi goes to Amanda and tells her to get back with Kyle (which A DOES try to do). The necklace switch was Jessi acting off of advice from Lori but upon learning that manipulation is not how you deserve to be with someone, she redeemed herself by approaching Amanda.

Really though, the show is over and I don't see us agreeing on these points because the way you see Amanda is the way I see Jessi. *each from their different POV's* *shrug* It is the way it is.
I think both girls could be bitchy at times and BOTH had "excuses" for acting that way.
And I think both girls were viable options for Kyle to choose from.
However, we'll never see eye to eye on who that person should end up being.

Oh, I wasn't talking to you about that. I completely agree with you there. I was very proud of Jessi there. I wanted to hug her because I was so proud of her. I was never talking about her in the final episodes because I really enjoyed Jessi in the final episodes. Still didn't want her with Kyle, but I was really looking forward to seeing her grow some more and I was hoping to see maybe a budding friendship between Amanda and Jessi. But I'm a softy and want people to get along. Lol. :)

Ok,wait a minute, if this is the reasoning for Amanda's behaviour - then how can you blame Jessi for the phone call when it was BECAUSE of Zzyzyx (through their manipulation and destruction in Jessi's entire life) that she did it in the first place. See, I've gotten into this discussion before and one thing that really bugs me is how Kessi choose to use the Zzyzzx card whenever they want. It's okay to say it's all Zzyzzx's fault when they want to excuse every mean and bad thing Jessi does, but apparently it's impossible that Zzyzzx could play a big part in her feelings for Kyle. Kessi fans can't have it both ways, either Zzyzzx was responsible or they aren't. And after the first half of season 2, I don't think they were.

Wait another second, though; emotional problems do not just DISAPPEAR overnight! And ESPECIALLY in Jessi's case. Sometimes it takes years and years to truly overcome/deal with a psychological issue (and in Jessi's case one that was thrust upon her from day 1). I'm not saying we can blame Zzyzzx for all bad things she did but she hasn't had the easiest life, maybe just cut her a little more slack &try to see where her actions are rooted. Jessi is a good person at heart&wants to be better.

Exactly. Ultimately we are all responsible for our own actions. Much has been made of the fact that Jessi had a hard life but in fact from the very first she never smiled say when she was lost in the woods. Kyle didnt have it easy at first either but he always smiled. He was attacked by a snake and yet he did not kill the snake he released it. Jessi would most probably have killed it. Kyle was arrested and then attacked and yet he still smiled. Kyle + Amanda!

Agreed. I am very sad that the series was cancelled and that the final episode left everything with absolutely zero closure for any of the characters. I am praying that someone picks it up and at least does a mini series that will end all the story lines. Hopefully with Kyle and Amanda intact.
I do like Jessi she is an amazing character and I realize she also will always have a connection with Kyle. But Kyle KNOWS that Amanda is the one. He said it often enough.

Well, I actually have found some flaws about Amanda. And I've talked to some Kymanda fans who have also commented on things they didn't like about her. Heck, we've even found flaws in Kyle too. I was just saying that from what I've seen from Kessi fans, Jessi's the only perfect one. It's not that we don't know that Jessi is flawed (she is, as are most living beings for that matter) but I think K/A fans judge her WAY too harshly for things Zzyzx made her do& that THAT is the basis for disliking her.
Jessi didn't have the same upbringing as Kyle, so you can't expect the same things of her. She is trying to learn to be better. And I don't find K/A fans accept that.

Kyle and Jessi. Personally the way I see it..even if amanda and kyle were to be together, it wouldn't work. Kyle has it in his mind that he will never leave jessi, and eventhough he knows perfectly well that she can protect herself, he still watches over her. i don't really know who i like better for kyle. I am really starting to like jessi, but I still can't feel anything between her and kyle. To me they are more like brother and sister. Well, that's your opinion and I believe it's completely wrong. Amanda isn't stupid neither is Jessi, but I believe if Jessi were truly as remarkable as Kyle is, it wouldn't take her so long to learn how to NOT be a backstabbing bitch all the time. I unfortunately think part of the problem I have with Jessi is the fans fault. They practically worship the ground Jessi walks on. She always perfect and can never do anything. So if I say something I don't like about her, it's like the worlds going to end for them. Lol. It only makes me want Kyle and Amanda together more.

hahah oh trust me, don't i know it! it gets me so tweaked when everyones all gung-ho Kessi now, and i'm like huh since when? i don't see any chemistry...other then the fact they were born in the same, um ,lab...errr.. buttt she's totallly not someone i picture with Kyle because of how she is....and now i just see her as annoying because of all the people pushing for Kyle/Jessi and then bashing Amanda. It's ridic.

Do you still think that about Jessie? or Kessie for that matter? I'm just curious. cause I didn't like her at first but now I think she was just lost, and scared, but with Kyle she seems more kind more, dare I say, human. ;)

I still don't like the idea of Kessi if that's what you mean. But I do care about her and I was really looking forward to seeing her grow more. Damn that ABC Family! Grrr.

i think people are harsh with jessi eventhough she tries to be better.lori can't get along with jessi eventhough both of them try .everyone is nice with kyle and teach him how to behave even if he mess up they don't do that with jessi

Kyle and Jessi are one of my favourite couples
along with Kate and Jack from Lost,Sarah and Michael from Prison break,Lana and Clark from Smallville,Lizzie and Max from Roswell,Piper and Leo and Phoebe and Cole from Charmed.I really hope that starting with season 3 they will be together and that stupid Amanda will be killed off(come on she is one of the worst characters and the show can do just fine without her in)

Jessi for sure. Each has what the other needs: Kyle needs more of Jessi's edge and will to be better, and Jessi needs some of Kyle's balance and ability to keep grounded. They complement each other in every way, and together they can be larger than life (romantic and ability-wise). Plus, like someone pointed out, Kyle and Amanda are deadly boring! *And* have no chemistry!

True but Jessi's also the biggest set back imaginable for kyle. Every time he almost comes to a break through Jessi does something stupid and he has to cover for her. He'd be to busy taking care of her to take care of herself.

Yes. She made mistakes, she isn't flawless (which makes the character more interesting/realistic and also makes me like her even more). She made mistakes 'cause while trying to discover who she really was, she (unlike Kyle) was misguided and even programmed early on. But when it truly mattered she came through for him disregarding her own well being and I bet that will be a constant. I believe both will benefit more together, more than they would if he stayed with Amanda. And we'd dodge boredom.

She's selfish, untrustworthy (she betrayed kyle countless times, i don't understand how can still talk to her) , aggressive , haughty , and has this ugly thirst for power...
kyle and Jessi has nothing in common, except their brain abilities...
Amanda is much more worthy and alike of kyle.
she's proven it numerous times. And for those of you who think amanda is too white, i'd like you to remember that kyle is pretty white himself, so it's actually a good point ;)

U know what i mean? soooo... many ppl watch these tv series because of the loveteam chemistry. I want to watch a love moment that is not so boring and fancy. Okay, 3 reasons why kyle and jessi are a trillion times better then kyle and amanda
1. Amanda is boring! What makes a good tv couple is drama and action, and they get neither. All that happens in her perfect little world is, "Oh no! There isn't a caterer for the prom! What ever shall I do?"
2. Jaimie Alexander is hotter than Kirsten Prout. Im not saying Kirsten is not hot, just that Jaimie is definitely way more up to Matt Dallas standards.
