There is this mod called "Dark side romance resolution mod" that has some fanmade endings combined together with this one (one of them has the option to force persuade Carth into a sith,which, in my opinion, is *quite* ridiculous). If he joined the party again or they put him in a third along with the Exile and Reven that would be great. Although chances are they'd prolly turn him into a sort of 'Kyle Katarn' character turn him from Republic War Hero to jedi in a sort of spin off story which has little mention of Revan or the Exile and has more to do with his story personally.

I think if you tell Atton that Revan was a female. Then you can find Carth in various holo logs and I think near the ending, you finally meet him and he tells you that if you meet Revan tell her that he will always love her.
i don't get it in kotor 2 they can get off malachor when the planet is colapsing but they can't even get off the star forge when they are right next to the ship and the exit.
I have a friend that said that you could be on the dark side and not kill Mission when the time comes, instead letting her run away, that might be a PC version (I am playing Xbox), but is this at all true?

i am a guy but on all RPG's because they are better as characters really i pick females because i like to be evil alot and it rules being evil especially on KotOR and fable 2 so yeah girl power LMAO
you know what would really be great for this mod right at the end when you kill bastila and right after the ships fire on the star forge the screen go black and carth saying "i love you". and remove the last cinematic thing where master yoda talks to the ship captain. just remove that and the game should end with the words "i love you" which carth will say to the female character. if any of you would do this i will be the first one to download it and i would be happy to play kotor 1 again.
Doesn't really matter - not in my house anyway. I also think the game itself leans female. You get this hidden ending, you set the romance option with Juhani, and you get 3/4 of Carth's dialogue tree - the largest in-game. The only conversation a F!Revan can't get is the last one with Bastila. I also think it makes more sense on the Leviathan. Saul would be more likely to dish abuse out on his ex-lieutenant than on a Jedi Malak wants.
I agree too! I played KOTOR2 before KOTOR1 and even then the impression given was that Revan was female. I think the authors intended for revan to be female, but a large no of players aer probly male n chose male player n thats how the cannon gets set in stone. For me Revan will always be a female. Errr... That isn't great, not at all. That ending excludes the existance of KOTOR2, I wouldn' say so if they would've escaped, but duhh... Revan, turning to the light side, after defeating Malak? Killing Bastila? Willingly sacrifice herself to die with Carth? Lol.. that's pathetic.
Whether or not you like the idea behind the mod, there is NO QUESTION is it well done. Way up to BioWare standards, or beyond, with the voice acting and the number of choices. Bravo on a great mod, regardless.

i think i have the answer to everyone's confusion about this ending and the second. PLEASE NOTE THIS MIGHT NOT BE TRUE BUT IT IS MY IDEA. i think this is a parallel universe to the second KOTOR therefore it is not going to effect the second game because that will be set in a different universe were Carth, Bastilla and Revan survive whilst the other events take place as usual and if you choose the light side ending and you do manage to return Bastilla to the light then you will be playing in...

yeah like in kotor2 when you go to nar shaada and you can tell the exchange thugs to give you all their money and jump down the pit. that had me rolling around laughing
that was just stupid, im happy i never played as a chick. as a guy once u go dark u never go back, that and instead of having a lovesick carth falling all over you you get to tell the jamoke to go jump off a bridge every time you talk to him (okay well not literally but it would be cool to force persuade him to jump from the uppercity of taris like the exile does to those two aliens in nar shadarr during kotor 2)
that'll be why they removed it originally. before not including the sith empire ending they could pretty much let you choose how kotor ended in kotor2 when you mention if reven was good or evil. but with this ending it messes up the whole story of kotor2 since it's mostly about following him to the uncharted space. kinda hard when he/she died (and with revan dead,along with jedi master bastila and admiral onasi , the republic would be defenceless)
Well, that doesn't make any sense, because in Kotor II Revan, Carth and Bastila are all still alive, regardless of wether you play dark side or light side. Also, I would like to see the very end of this clip. What happens at the victory celebration for the republic? Is it even there?
If they got away, then what? Revan has reclaimed her title as Dark Lord, betrayed the republic for the second time, and killed 3-4 of her former comrades.
The memory wipe and new life to start over was her chance at redemption. In the darkside ending, instead of learning from her mistakes, she just makes bigger ones.
There are only so many times you can have a "do over" Most people don't get that. Revan had hers and...blew it. That's why there was no escape at the end.
Not only that.. but... Canderous was on the Ship, and so was T3 and HK XD; And all three of them are in KOTOR 2... so.. XD;
I think it would've been nice if they ran for the Ebon Hawk, since it was like, Right flippin there, and left.. dropped Canderous off on Dxun, Zaalbar on Kashyyyk, then went off on their own little thing...
Because its non-canon. A light side male is the canon version of kotor 1 therefore this scene shouldnt have happened. This is why Carth and the Ebon Hawk appear in kotor 2.

Errr... That isn't great, not at all. That ending excludes the existance of KOTOR2, I wouldn' say so if they would've escaped, but duhh... Revan, turning to the light side, after defeating Malak? Killing Bastila? Willingly sacrifice herself to die with Carth? Lol.. that's pathetic.

Whether or not you like the idea behind the mod, there is NO QUESTION is it well done. Way up to BioWare standards, or beyond, with the voice acting and the number of choices. Bravo on a great mod, regardless.

i think i have the answer to everyone's confusion about this ending and the second. PLEASE NOTE THIS MIGHT NOT BE TRUE BUT IT IS MY IDEA. i think this is a parallel universe to the second KOTOR therefore it is not going to effect the second game because that will be set in a different universe were Carth, Bastilla and Revan survive whilst the other events take place as usual and if you choose the light side ending and you do manage to return Bastilla to the light then you will be playing in...

i like playing the darkside more then light side seem to be more funner for me use darkside moves on ppl then light side ones like if ur dark the game will give u an option to hurt ppl or kill them or use the force to do somethin bad

that was just stupid, im happy i never played as a chick. as a guy once u go dark u never go back, that and instead of having a lovesick carth falling all over you you get to tell the jamoke to go jump off a bridge every time you talk to him (okay well not literally but it would be cool to force persuade him to jump from the uppercity of taris like the exile does to those two aliens in nar shadarr during kotor 2)

that'll be why they removed it originally. before not including the sith empire ending they could pretty much let you choose how kotor ended in kotor2 when you mention if reven was good or evil. but with this ending it messes up the whole story of kotor2 since it's mostly about following him to the uncharted space. kinda hard when he/she died (and with revan dead,along with jedi master bastila and admiral onasi , the republic would be defenceless)

Well, that doesn't make any sense, because in Kotor II Revan, Carth and Bastila are all still alive, regardless of wether you play dark side or light side. Also, I would like to see the very end of this clip. What happens at the victory celebration for the republic? Is it even there?

If they got away, then what? Revan has reclaimed her title as Dark Lord, betrayed the republic for the second time, and killed 3-4 of her former comrades.
The memory wipe and new life to start over was her chance at redemption. In the darkside ending, instead of learning from her mistakes, she just makes bigger ones.
There are only so many times you can have a "do over" Most people don't get that. Revan had hers and...blew it. That's why there was no escape at the end.

Not only that.. but... Canderous was on the Ship, and so was T3 and HK XD; And all three of them are in KOTOR 2... so.. XD;
I think it would've been nice if they ran for the Ebon Hawk, since it was like, Right flippin there, and left.. dropped Canderous off on Dxun, Zaalbar on Kashyyyk, then went off on their own little thing...

the ebon hawk was right there they could of escaped and the hawk would of got destroyed and wouldent be in kotor 2

Because its non-canon. A light side male is the canon version of kotor 1 therefore this scene shouldnt have happened. This is why Carth and the Ebon Hawk appear in kotor 2.
