can you remake this with someone erecording you? me and my younger sister just got horses for the first time and my little sis constantly forgets the haulter so i wanted to teach her this just in case

@Llamasrock03 Horses aren't cheap but then how much you end up spending (never cheap, just less expensive...) totally depends on the individual horse, what you want to do with the horse and how much the maintenance costs are. The money cost can be the difference between shoeing vs barefoot (if it's an option), if you have your own grazing, how easy the horse is to keep, the type and age of horse based on what you intend to do etc. I figure my horse averages around $80 NZ per week.
What i do, i put the end of the rope through the first opening in the clippy thingie and then wrap the other end round the horses nose then again put the end through the other opening and it makes a lead/halter :)

I realized that my MFT's halter was not going to fit her. As my MFT has a small head and can fit in a yearling halter or standered donkey. But the lead rope did! I acutally had to use this on my TB as she was being a B***H and kept running away so i only had the leadrope and i remembered watching this and i used ur idea!!! it works!
i got to an equestrian center because i cant afford a horse XD i know that's sad but anyway we had to put of a halter and take the horse out to the field but his alter was on a different horse because this guy was stupid and lost his so i did this and i managed to take the horse out thanks fr making this video it helped :)

ones I wanted to let him eat some grass but he was wearing a briddle, so I used the leash of our dog to make a halter like this :)

The horse I used to ride once lost his halter in tall grass at the opposite end of a paddock that's inside a racetrack we use as a trail. This would've been so useful then xD

There is an easier way to make it, especially seeming most horses wont like having something wrapped around their nose first and will just back up out of it.

@0HoRsEsGiRl0 no as you can see it hits all the same pressure points as a halter would and if were to tighten up it do not tighten under the throat it tightens under the jaw if you have even used a stud chain it would be around the same effect but not as much pressure
