  • They get my respect for not desperately holding on to the same old trick that once made em great. It takes guts to turn your back to your comfort zone and take the risk to try something different.

Too bad the end result sucks so bad though. What's with the faux 80s vibe and the shitty cold sound? Not to mension I'd swear I heard this song from some other crappy band...about 38zillion times.

  • there are so many things wrong with this song. Its just awful

  • The end of the video and the whole new LP is just awesome. If someone their new stuff is crap is because they are stupids who think TGUK should release the same album again and again. Grow up.

  • @ToLaFies I'm crying on the inside. I'll stick with The Get Up Kids I know and love. I just don't feel the same emotion in the new music. So, if that means I need to grow up, then so be it. I'm still not going to change my mind because some troll on the internet is tell people to grow up.

  • @mbs1420 I respect that, nice point.

  • @ToLaFies I apologize for calling you a troll.

  • where did the get up kids go? :( i dont like this anymore

  • I like the Get Up Kids; Don't like the video.

  • Dood James Dewees just needs to check out, this synth nonsense is just too much, go back to the original 4 piece and make post punk again, if anything just for shits and giggles

  • This song just never picks up or goes anywhere. Lack of ideas? "Something to write home about" is a masterpiece that they'll never manage to beat, but this is not just one step below. This should be buried deep under ground and forgotten by everyone.

  • I can't make up my mind. I mean... yeah its not bad but its not great either compared to their other stuff in the 90s. I felt this was slightly generic and repetitive in my honest opinion. I'm sorry if that sounds cruel considering they're a respectable band but I'm looking forward to hearing more of their new material.

  • New direction mean anything, guys? I mean, I too prefer their old stuff, but this isn't bad. It's a new direction.

  • what the hell is all this synthy shit?

  • Gimme Something to Write Home About, and Four Minute Mile ANYDAY over this..

  • Bad ass song from maybe their best album!! The wait was worth it!!

  • =/ mmm..no

  • I think that is an old Oasis Adjust-O-Matic.

  • I totally dig the new album!

  • Meh. These guys don't even care enough to be in there own videos.

  • amazing video perfect song <3

  • Nice video... but the song sucks imho

  • This is terrible but im still in love with this band because of the guilt show.

  • I wanted to like this record so much but after a few listens it sucks.

  • @jefferygwatkins Same. I miss the good old days.

  • come to Brazil, please!

  • Looks and sounds KILLER!!

  • When Brazil ??????????

  • Melhor disco do TGUK, There Are Rules é sensacional.

  • Conheci o TGUK em 2002 e desde então não parei de ouvir.

Gostei do single Simple Science e mais ainda da produção de There Are Rules.

    Saúde, força e fé. Sempre!!!

    Abraço.
