Hey thanks for the great video. I have the calling down pretty well , but my question is when to use each call . You gave an example of when the birds were still on roost , but I still need to be better at knowing what to use, and when . Thanks again !
Awesome video, thanks for posting. I'll be revisiting for the next couple of days, our season started here in Michigan..but we have lots of rain today.
Great videos. I have some questions though. I've got the yelp and purr down, but I'm having trouble getting Cutting down. I can get it to sound right sometimes but not all the time and it's making me wonder if I'm doing it right. Is there another explanation that you can give other than the one on your videos? Also, can you explain how to Pluck?
Thanks, But im not sure how explain the cutt exept it is like a sharp fast repeated yelp, just a burst of air between the reed and your tongue. But a PLUCK i've not heard of that but a CLUCK i have. A CLUCK is like the PUTT but not as loud and aggressive like the alarm putt. Its soft and smooth sounding like as they do when there feeding. kinda like cluck, purr, cluck, purr. I hope that helps you out then again it might sound like mumbo jumbo. If you learn a pluck let me know I would appriciate it.
Hey, man im glad that it helped you out. I have another video uploading now check it out it is a little better instruction on how to do it. I appreciate your comments and I hope you get that big Tom this year useing the diaphram it fills good to acomplish that.
It's hard to explain how to purr on my diaphram but i will try. What you want to do is put the call in the roof of your mouth like you would to yelp. what i do is, vibrate my uvula (punching bag) or roll your tongue sounds like chubacca (starwars) LOL if you can understand that. Thats why i said its hard to explain. Give me some time keep looking for it,& i will try to explain it in a video. Thanks for the comment. I hope that i helped. Like to hear back from ya to see if it helped good luck.
that was a woodhaven cherry crystal classic it is actually a glass over crystal not slate but very nice call very easy to use about 79.99 comes with two strikers very recommended. thanks for the comment.

I'm an idiot nevermind. I meant CLUCK but typed the PLUCK in because that's how you're supposed to pronounce it when you call
