The trick/hack consists of converting the video manually to .flv format (using eg. mencoder) and then changing the information in the header of the file about the video duration (using some hex editor). You can read the instructions at:
f o r u m . v i d e o h e l p . c o m /t o p i c 3 3 6 8 8 2. h t m l
Thanks! I am still having problems when I try to make a copy of a waypoint in timetrack - I am getting some unexpected results, so I had to edit some keyframes manually more times...
If you can be more specific about how to reproduce the problem you have with duplicating a waypoint, I'll take a look at fixing it. Find me in #synfig on the freenode IRC network, or post a bug in the sourceforge bug tracker.
Ok, I will try to reproduce it and will post .sifz file on synfig forum so we can discuss it before I post it as a bug. Maybe I am doing something wrong :)
Some bugs you find disappear if you save the .sifz file and reload it... So before posting it, make sure that the bug still exists after loading it! If not, you'll need to describe a 'recipe' for making it happen.
Whoa, very very nice ^^

Never could move my eyebrows, always wondered how some people could move just one.

very nice... but why do the synfig examples I've seen report 10 minute clips, and last 10 seconds?

Heh, sorry about that - it has nothing to do with synfig. It is a little trick I am using to upload clips in higher quality (higher bitrate)

Quite good drawings!
BTW what's the trick you're mentioned to improve quality in youtube?
