  • I don't know how recent this video is? It is after 2 am, just got home from work. I am a Chemical Dependency Counselor. So, I "GET", what you are talking about. Thank you for your reminder that we all should live one day at a time! Tomorrow is promished to no one. The best thing u can do is not only accept but also surrender to what you are going through!

Try the serenity prayer. I wish you God's blessings! You are an amazing person!

  • Thank you for everything you do on youtube. I'm 15 years old with dermatomyositis. Being in my teenage years, it's hard to relate to the other students in my school and I'm very scared. I might start medication in January, and your videos have helped me alot. They make me feel like I'm not alone in this. Thank you, again. : )

  • Thank you so much for this; I've had dermato for several years, but I'd been in remission for almost 10. I've just started a major flare and I'm having a hard time readjusting. Please message me if you have the time, I'd love to talk.

  • you're a calm soul.

  • Stacy, You probably dont know much about me, I am a nurse and I also happen to be a good listener and a good cheerleader, so what I would like to say to you is this, if you ever need an encouraging word or a kick in the ass ( lol ) I will be more than glad to help you out. :)

  • Hey Stac, I'm on a vloggin' break right now, trying to focus on some writing projects, but I'm really glad I caught this vid. How incredible for you to have found the riht doc- not just someone who can really address the physical, but the emotional, as well. I have no doubt you'll do what's right for your life. The fact that you're on here giving those lessons to others who need to hear it, that's what makes you a bright, shining light in my book. Take care- be well.

  • Syd.. you make me smile always..

  • I just found your videos. Really great. Good luck on your journey to make the most out of your difficult situation. Talking to a therapist sounds like it has made you feel much better, which is a step in the right direction. : )

  • Hang in there... I have 6 Chronic illness' that are linked together in one way or another....Fibromyalgia is one along with Crohn's disease. Its been 4 years and I feel better now then I did then... I have learned to adapt and accept my limitations and learned to LIVE!!!

  • Wow, really great video. You're absolutely 100% right. I was talking just yesterday with a friend about this. I've got a couple of things in my life that are causing me a huge amount of stress right now. I've been angry over it, stewing on it, losing sleep over it. And these are things I have no control over. My friend said I had to let go of my anger and frustration or they would eat me alive. He's right. I bow to both his *and* your words of wisdom, Stacey.

  • sounda like he was a great inspriration to you. Glad you found him. Have you ever thought about going to school online to start a new career?

  • Great update! Very inspirational...

  • Life is a painting. Take the brushes of your experience and paint the portrait you want the world to know you by. My granny always said that. I know your mural is going to be gorgeous!

  • I'm so happy that things are looking up! It looks like our prayers and well wishes worked!! Horray for positive energy and I am just so so happy for you!

  • Great message in this video.

It makes me happy to know that you have found that special psychiatrist to help you with acceptance etc.

  • My son wrecked my car Friday. Totalled it. Totally careless driving. But he is fine, the kids with him are fine. So whats a car?

Im glad you are redirecting your life peacefully. I hope to keep in touch cuz I know there are good days and bad days. We a;; have them, and sharing them makes them better.

  • I'm so glad your finding answers. More, I'm so happy you're sharing your findings. Your message hit me hard! Like you, I've been trying to live by a set of dated standards. I'm 55 and trying to keep up with the personal expectations of my 40-year-old self. I need to reflect, to reconsider, to update. Heavens, no wonder I'm frustrated and exhausted. Thank you, my dear Stacy, for this outstanding visit! Wishing you continued acceptance, success, and happiness.

  • this video is brilliant. thanks for your message - i recently got into a little funk - and i've been trying to repeat this exact message over and over again to get myself out. but now, when i forget the words i'm trying to tell myself - or need them to come from someone else, i'm just going to watch this video over again. these are brilliant words to live by. favorited!

  • You've got it.

Whatever it is, you've got it.

Reevaluation is the essence of life; Don't let it keep you from living in the moment, and sharing you're mind.

    Rock on!

  • You sound very postive today. I'm glad you were able to find this doctor. It seems like you made a connection and can relate to him. Your going to find your way. From watching your videos I can see you have a good spirit. Its just a matter of time before everything falls into place, but it will. Have a wonderful evening. :}

  • Just remember that mircles come as we really need them

  • No one ever wants to let go of who they use to be especially if they were comfortable with it. The hard part is accepting your limitations. But accepting them doesn't mean they have to run your life. Know what they are and work around them. I think that you will be wonderful at whatever it is you finally choice to focus on. I think you will be able to live the best life you can.

  • I am SO HAPPY that you found that great doctor! I too have fibromyalgia and can empathise completely. Worrying only makes the pain worse. Staying positive always helps me, it will you too. Take care hon...PEACE

  • Totally understand where you are coming from. I'm glad your therapy is helping you out. Remember, to be patient with yourself.
