wiked playing man... I had to see someone play a drum cover of "Wretch" that is such a badass song. you've prolly replaced it by now, but that tom looked pretty done.
@Silentmidget44 that part is really hard, hah. I think Moe accents the last note with his left foot... it'd be a lot easier to do it that way than try to compensate with my right but it's uncomfortable and hard to get used to lol. Oh well
HELL YEAH!! awesome job man i love your videos but i suggest an upgrade. what is that a pearl starter set, and while your at it grab yourself some nice 14" ZHT mastersound hi-hats. in the meantime keep on rocking
All that stuff was during the first half hour of filming attempts, before I realized that I need to focus to stay on-rhythm with the song haha. But check out my "Blindfolds Aside" video this weekend... I'm filming it then and I'll have plenty of that... you can't play that song WITHOUT headbanging/stick-flipping lol
absolutely nothing someone had made a comment about not having any tricks (like thats important?) and I was just pointing out that he had a couple spins in there. I think he did an awesome job
Your hi-hats have a pretty good sound for just being left open like that. I love listening to it with the music and without. If i ever upload a cover thats how i'm gonna do it. Got the volume of your drums and the song mixed perfectly. Makes me want to go learn some protest
And for the record, treat yourself to some new drums. Your good enough where you deserve it. Tired of seeing these shity kids with 1600$ pearl kits who can't play while your crankin out solid beats on a 300$ kit lol
Thanks! The hi-hats are pretty low quality but they sound good if you hold them like that. I've been playing the same set for a few years, looking into getting a new one... maybe a Gretsch or a Pearl. What do you play?
I've got a yamaha stage custom with a sabian b8 pack (really low end cyms but at least they were new). I've got a few old vids posted. Nothing special, only posted them cause a friend said he was going to write a guitar piece for em and never did.
Thanks! And you wouldn't believe how sketchy my set is... if you go to 4:21, you can clearly see that tom has ALREADY been ripped, but I just turned the tom upside down so I wouldn't have to drive to Sam Ash and get a new head haha. I actually have a video of me ripping through the head... a tiny hole formed so in the middle of messing around I just stabbed through it with the drumstick. Pretty funny to watch :-) Oh, and the ride on the left (right at 4:21) is actually the top of a hi-hat lol
ahaha awesome. it reminds me of the set i have. it was a cheap one and i literally shredded it to bits and had to get all new heads, cymbals, stands, and a new kick. so technically it's not that cheap anymore 0.0 but theres a crash and mini china that my friend tore. he plays hard. so yeah those sound like crap. btw i just watched that solo thing you did for your school and i pretty much need to change my pants now. it was that awesome.
You owe me a new monitor. My old one is covered in semen. That's some seriously awesome drumming right there, brochacho!

Good cover! I just couldn't tolerate playing your kit. I have to have all my toms flat and at knee level.

I juts love the cat meowing in this song.
I remember listening to this half asleep, heard the cat, and freaked out thinking my cat got in somehow. Haha.

Hey! Great job, the only thing I would clean up is 2:55-3:05. It is hard for me as well. You have the bass right but not the hats. Good cover overall
