I think we have been misled about Internet Explorer8. When I downloaded it I thought I would get a browser like Flock or Google Chrome. But all I got was the same browser as the old Internet Explorer. My pc has got windows 7 and it says I have got Internet explorer 8. But it looks and is no different from Internet explorer at all. um...go to tools, internet options, then go to the privacy tab. you might have set the filter to high.

Do you mean that Live search has become your home page? If so, go to the page you want to open when you start, then from the Tools drop down choose Internet Options. On the General Tab there's a 'Home page' section. Click the 'Use current' button.
