Only if you like shooting, Battlesuits are pretty good at melee, better than most other armies standard troops, but dont depend on FW for anything other than firing unceasing volleys from Pulse Rifles.

good choice.. i jsut started a few months back and chose tau merely because they had the best starter pack.... cant say i have any complaints on how they work very nice army so long as you don tplan on doing any melee save for the kroots. btw just marker light like a fagget and youll do great.

Tau can be a good choice yeah. They have powerful guns but they are very bad in close combat. Utilize mobility and speed with the force and they are powerful indeed.

If you like to shoot things, tau is the way to go. They suck at close combat though. However, if you use the correct tactics (ie fall back and shoot, and use the devilfish transports to fly over the enemy) they should never get that close.

Hmmmm.... if you think about it, daemons can always go first in apocalypse, since all their models deepstrike, you don't have to bid any time to set them up, so just say that you can set up in 0 seconds and you will automaticaly go first! BWA HAHAHAHA!
