omg this is amazing, i loved the first part the birds fight! that was scary...I will be visiting feb this year...is it every year same time from 18-23?
It normally runs for 10 days, starting from Valentines day - I only went for some of the time unfortunately. There is a big ceremony in the square to open/close the carnival.
The carnival events were mostly free, although they did put on a handful of ticketed concerts too, and that was one of them - it was a sort of medley of popular opera pieces. The venue was called Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, and it's on Campo San Salvador, San Marco. I assume they'll do something like it next year, but you're probably best checking the Carnival of Venice website for more details. Hope you have fun!

Nice video! What is the place where the two opera singers at the end perform? Im going next february too and I'd like to see that.
