  • Can everybody where the costumes? And when is the Masquerade Ball?

  • @RavenandKidFlash Yeah, anyone can wear a costume. It's every February.

  • @void150 Thanks!

  • awesome :]

here in holland whe've got an carnival to. i think its online 2 days for us. But i like the Venice carnival better. In holland whe've got the half naked people dancing on those cars.

  • Do they still wear those awesome masks?

  • Yep, every year!

  • omg this is amazing, i loved the first part the birds fight! that was scary...I will be visiting feb this year...is it every year same time from 18-23?

  • It normally runs for 10 days, starting from Valentines day - I only went for some of the time unfortunately. There is a big ceremony in the square to open/close the carnival.

  • Nice video! What is the place where the two opera singers at the end perform? Im going next february too and I'd like to see that.

  • The carnival events were mostly free, although they did put on a handful of ticketed concerts too, and that was one of them - it was a sort of medley of popular opera pieces. The venue was called Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, and it's on Campo San Salvador, San Marco. I assume they'll do something like it next year, but you're probably best checking the Carnival of Venice website for more details. Hope you have fun!

  • Wow it all looks very cool. Done well!
