  • Outlook or anything made by Microsoft is a bleeding joke but the bigger jokes are those who buy or use it. Security? Sort of like trying to hold water with fishnet nylons. The world knows Their products are crap. I am amazed at how many people still use it. Guess we really do live in a world of stupid!

  • EXACTLY what I'm trying to find the solution to. I think you have to actually send and/or receive an e-mail from a particular address before it starts knowing who you mean.

  • you also know Daniel Weiss? ... he owns me money ...

  • Thanks for sharing this. I now realize why it has been difficult for me to find email addresses when composing emails in Outlook.

With current email software there is generally too big overhead composing messages. Instant messaging has taken over many tasks where you would previously be using email software. Because here you don't have to interact with the raw email addresses.

I hope to see more improvements in IM software so it can eventually replace email.

  • Hey wanderingstan, Can you tell me if there is a free software to make such videos? I have some more Outlook issues on my system and I want to ask the word... Thanks.

  • I agree - very dumb.

qq - would it work if you wrote the starting characters of his email address (dnew...). I think Outlook directs to history, so if you've never sent an email to 'Daniel Newman (dnewman@...)' instead sending to just his address, it wouldn't remember it.

    That's just a theory - I could be wrong.

  • Nope, I just tried your suggestion. It is not working.
