I have a cat named Chistery that plays fetch too. I usually get tired of playing before she does, which is hard to believe. She'd play forever if she could. I also have a cat named Gidget...shes an old lady, though. (12 years) ... I've had her since I was nine.
Oh, we're not playing with her - she's playing with us! Now that she's a big grown-up girl of age 2, she doesn't play fetch as much. She also seems to have gotten a little skittish. She will play fetch a little, but she won't catch/retrieve as much as she used to.

My cat is the lord of our house and would never lower himself by playing fetch.Your lucky your cat is so laid back.
