this is crap. you have to jump through too many hoops to download this software. I never did find the survey you are supposed to fill out in order to DL it.
you can start by downloading just about any free demo that comes with the basic free libraries. NI and Fxpansion guru both have plenty of basic free kits. You can record anything off of the net, chop it up and make you own kits. Pull them up in using the samplomatic 5000 make your own kits that you can pull up in a track. Make a template. It's definitley old school key mapping but if you put in the time you can have what ever kits you make up. Anything. Pull up a midi inst. and your kit. done.
Hey just go get Reaper. It's free and you can download free vst synths and drums and auto slice all the fx you need. It's all there and it kicks major ass all over any free software. It's a complete DAW. Don't even fuck around. Reaper.fm. bam!!
@CludzyMasta you can use Reaper as long as you want. I've used it for almost 3 years now. I'm novice and don't make any money from it. If I did I would pay. I have learned so much by having this program available for 'free'. I am thankful that the cockos guys have been so generous. I have bought programs that cost loot and failed because of the limitations and too technical. Just try it, give it some time and buy if you want. It's cheap and worth every buck!

@D84D hmm might have to check it out, atm for drums im using guitar pro and exporting that to audacity (which is what i use atm).
