I think we all know (or knew) a Dusty. A semi-psychotic, loud, obnoxious, ride-or-die dude, with a college frat boy-like personality... Dusty was, and still is, the main reason I LOVED Twister; I mean, don't get me wrong, Twister was kick-ass no matter how you slice it, but Dusty gave the movie oomph! Awesome, awesome character... though, I think that Bill's fiancée, Melissa was close to strangling him by the third tornado... LOL!

To clear up confusion on it, as I was very confused and didn't realize this till just now. Okay the first song is Motherless Child and the chasing the tornado song is Child in Time. Motherless child is by Eric Clapton and Child in time is by Deep Purple. The reason why it sounds different from any version you can find is because Dusty is watching them as a concert thus making it a live concert edition which are pretty much in possible to find now. If anyone finds them, let me know! :-)

What puzzles me is that this is footage from the California Jam in 1974, and the Coverdale, Hughes, Paice, Lord, Blackmore incarnation of Deep Purple never performed that song live, let alone at that gig.

I think that Deep purple only did that part in some special occasions or something cause i listened to the song too and it didnt have that part in it unless it wasnt the whole song. I listened to a live version that is rare out of amsterdam in 1969 and it had that part in it. So it was the song. hope this helps.
