Im on the most basic 32bit Vista 2gig of ram Waw and Mw2 ran fine now I got this its fucked I can only do missions and even they lag, when i Try multiplayer i can manage nuketown getting 1 kill per 20 deaths from my avatar not responding lagging, time outs and the lot Ive just bouhgt an extra 1gb of ram today its helped a little but still the same I cant play this game at all will there be any updates or news about it soon ?

ITS ALL BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING XBOX WITH ITS OUTDATED DRIVERS AND SHIT! The thing is that because of Xbox shitty hardware Black Ops pushes more of the load to the CPU instead of sharing it with the GPU... wich it should be doing.

well the xbox version runs beautifull on my xbox 360.

and the PC version probably is totally different .

looks the same , but programmed different .

if black ops runs shitty on your PC . then you might wanna look at your PC specs ,

also to many cores can bug some games .

try to run on less cores by switching some off in task manager.

if your cpu allows it.

NO. that's not the problem, black ops is just like GTA IV.... POORLY CODED!!!!! they didn't go thru the effort of coding it to be good for any configuration, and why? Activision, the cancer that is destroying games.

also, old problem is old.. they fixed it and the game runs better but it's still not in an optimized to the full extent, i rly wish microsoft/sony would release a new more powerfull console.....

it 1 of the easiest games to run on both my PC and xbox360

it barly uses high specs .

ofcourse the framerate and aliasing in GTA4 was always poor,

but how else can you get complete liberty city on such small disk space.

if you think you can code better then go for a job at rockstar games.

black ops even runs on my old crappy PC ,so should say enough to you guys with high end PC's

i have an Asus Maximus formula board + 4gb 1066mhz with a intel quad at 3.5ghz and a Geforce GTX470. Mine lags too, its a code issue. My machines not exactly bad spec now is it? ( to that spongy git who says get a decent pc) i know its not Top of the range but jesus do you not know anything about computing?

Man we know it sucks, we knew issues would arrise but be patient and a fix should be along.

It happens to me and every time I play a game, it makes it fucking impossible to play cause it freezes up everyone 2 seconds and I'm not over exagerating, EVERY FUCKING 2 SECOND! 100% CPU usage and everything breaks, I have 4 gigs of RAM 8800GTX but it still fucks up

it's a problem with the code probably, the devs are aware of the issue and are working to solve it as far as i know. So in other words IT*S NOT WORKING AS INTENDED IDIOTS, stop talking stupid shit. I got a i7-960 and it get up to 100% after a while. I fail to understand though, how such a monumental flaw gets passed beta...
