Like a guy I saw playing Nylon string guitar one day in the Subway. The best feel I ever heard. I'm playing guitar 30yrs now and I reached in and gave him all I had (about 7 dollars). His CD was 8...hesaid its alright..smiled and said take it. Best 7 dollars I ever spent.
theres all sorts of artist here in mexico too.. , more of mexican type music and .. styles but these guys and girls make gray cities like these colorfull and make your day.. worth wile.. :)
I saw this guy today, unbelievable!! I walked at least 1/8 mile down to the other side of the station and the farther i got, the louder it got. I swear i thought it was coming from the overhead speakers!! I tried to record but my phone was out of space... Keeping my camcorder in my bag so when i find him again...
Talent with no outlet to express itself but the nyc subway. In a different society, this man could take Britney Spears position. This is real talent. Unfortunately this is not the case.
before all you slow kids put any more "shame on you" thumbs down, i think he's just saying he hates the fact that real talent is often wasted like this.
true video and a true voice, as good as the original song "you've got a friend" i need to know when you taped this guy, and where in NY? luv the voice
What a great moment captured...

Give him a singing job, sign him up for a talent show or something. Talent like this should not go unheard.

I wonder Carole King has ever heard of this doing her song? He really does do it with a lot of meaning.

I love the way the other New Yorkers just pass him by without giving him a glance. New Yorkers are great.

Hey now, don't stereotype just because you see a few people of one group act a certain way. :/
RocketRodder 4 years ago
No stereotype, I lived in New York for 30 years, so I know. New Yorkers are great.
HearTheTruth 4 years ago
Well, that's your opinion. My best friend is from NY (born and raised) and his family are the nicest people.. *shrug*
RocketRodder 4 years ago
oh god, he has a talent but nooo he has to be a junkie

not every homeless person is a junkie, sometime it is a death in the family that brings them to that point
